Called today (4/24) at about 11am and asked if there was room available for a single to walk on. Starter said sure come on out and we'll fit you in. Showed up about half an hour later and got on the waiting list. Waited for almost 2 f'ing hours!!! Gave up and was extremely pissed that I had wasted the rest of the day available to play. American Golf gets a big F.U.

Played 4/21. Course was OK in general, however tee boxes were real spotty. Greens were as slow as I've ever seen. Some bunkers had rocks in them. Hope it gets better for The City Champ. next week.

Same story, sandy greens killed play. They keep it a secret that there being aerated to. The snack stand have sh$t for food.

Played on 3/30. Greens were being aerated.
Fairways in great shape for the amount of play this place receives. 4.5 hour round which is not bad for a Sunday morning.

Played 3/13. Greens were fairly soft and accepted shots quite well. They were a little bumpy, but not too bad. The fairways were plush. Rough was medium length and it was definitely a penalty to be in it. The bunkers' new sand is finally starting to compact a little and is not so fluffy. Most of the Tee Boxes have very bad divot damage and need a lot of work. Overall, the course is in pretty good shape.

Played early a.m. on 3/2/03. The overall course condition was good. Everything was on the lush side - probably due to the recent rains obviously. The lushness of the fairways yielded virtually no roll on the fairways, making for some long Par 4s. Some of the tee boxes were still scruffy, and the bunkers need more sand. The greens were in terrific shape and quite consistent. On a nice clear day like Sunday, it is as beautiful a setting as you'll get in SoCal.

Played this morning at 7:00 AM. Fairways were in great condition (well trimmed and few divot marks) and greens were rolling smooth and slow (moist greens). Tee boxes on some of the holes were a little beat up. Bunkers were in great shape. It was cold and moist this morning, but warmed up around 7:45 AM.

A long (6800 yards from the tips) course with some water and bunkers in play. Best time to play is during the week as weekends
