Played today 3/6/05. Course conditions were really poor in many areas with muddy fairways and puddles from the recent rains. I was suspect that course has a drainage problem. Greens, however were in fairly good shape and rolling well and true. Played Sunday with a 7:00 ish tee-time and made it out with my foursome in 4.5 hours walking. All in all, not bad.

Played here a lot when I lived in Mountain View many years ago. A wonderful, mature, tree lined course with great views of the city. In my opinion, a must play when in San Francisco. Great staff and great restaurant !

Played this course a lot when I lived in nearby Mountain View. Nothing special, just a typical short municipal course. Noise from nearby 101 and 237 detracts from what would otherwise be a decent golfing experience.

Played this course again on 9/17. Greens were almost finished aerating, so they gave us a discount rate of $68.00. Awesome course and not extremely difficult from the white tees. Fairways and tee boxes in excellent condition. Bunkers in great shape also.

Played on 8/4. Beautiful, desert style course with immaculate conditions. Hard, firm and (fast!) greens with undulation. Four sets of tees, so if you play from the correct set of tees, course is not too difficult. Excellent staff.

Played on 7/8 at 6:00 AM as a single. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens were firm and hard and medium speed. Fairways in pretty good condition considering the amount of play this place receives.

Played on 4/2 in the afternoon. Wonderful "links-style" course in great condition. Tee boxes and fairways are immaculate. Greens were being aerated that day and I was not advised when I made my reservation. Other than the conditions of the greens that day, everything else was great.
3.5 hour round for Friday afternoon, can't beat it !

Played 12/29. Course is in excellent shape considering the amount of play this track gets. Great starter (very courteous). Greens rolling fast and true. Greens are medium firmness and fairways are in excellent condition.

Played 11/30, greens were punched a few weeks ago and they were very bumpy and slow !

Played today, 11/23. 20 minute delay due to "frost". 3-4 group backup on the first tee and on several par 3's. The backup was gone by hole #3. A 5 hour round for a Sunday walking. A pretty course, especially in the fall as the fairways are tree lined and very pretty. The $33.00 green fee (walking) is fair for what type of course you get, not a bargain, but not a great deal either. The driving range here is always in great shape and the balls and mats are always in excellent condition.

Played on 11/2. Greens were slow and soft, but in good shape for an LA Muni. Numerous bare spots on the fairways made some shots difficult. Rough was in decent shape and the sand condition in bunkers was marginal. 4.5 hours walking for a Sunday morning is great pace for an LA City Course.

Great course. Greens were fast and in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes were lush and in great shape also. But, this place gets windy and you must learn to keep the ball low when the winds pick up !
