$21.50 WHAT A STEAL!!!! FOR THE SOUTHBAY GOLFERS MAY BE A LONG DRIVE, 49 MILES. THE NAME SAYS IT ALL, " DIAMOND"! THIS COURSE HAD THE BEST GREENS I HAVE SEEN IN SOME TIME!! THE BALL ROLED TRUE AND WITH SOME PACE, LA PURISIMA AND LA COSTA LIKE, WITH OUT THE $$$$$. THIS COURSE IS JUST LIKE LOS AMIGOS WITH ELEVATION CHANGES. FAIRWAYS WERE GENEROUS BUT YOU NEEDED TO HIT THE BALL WITH SOME SHAPE! DRAWS OVER BUNKERS TO CUT THE CORNERS, LAYUP SHOT TO KEEP SHORT OF HAZARDS. PLAYING THIS COURSE WAS SOOO REFRESHING, NOT JUST GET UP AND HIT DRIVER STRAIGHT THEN HIT WEDGE TO GREEN, YOU NEED SOME IMAGINATION AT THIS COURSE. PAR 3'S AVERAGE 187 YARDS WITH GREAT HOLE DESIGN! PAR 5'S WERE TUFF BUT FAIR, ONLY ONE IS NOT REACHABLE BY MOST MORTALS 560 YARDS TO UP HILL GREEN. READ MY LIPS DON'T BE ABOVE THE HOLE ON ANY OF THESE GREENS!!! UNLESS YOU HIT THE HOLE ITS GOING GOING GONE! d%mn I WISH I LIVED CLOSER TO THIS COURSE! SHOT 81 WITH 2 LOST BALLS, MADE MY DAY! A GREAT GROUP OF GUYS TO PLAY WITH TODAY ALSO. Better than I expected or remembered from a few years ago. If your a anti sound freak like the pro's then the freeway noise on a couple of holes may be a bother.
Diamond Bar is a very fair layout with some challenging par 4's and par 3's. Hole 16 comes to mind.
My only complaint is that the greens were much slower than I expected and most were pretty bumpy. They just aerated them a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully they will improve over the next two or three weeks.

Played the course during a tournament and the course played very well. Only a few areas that were standing water (from the recent rains) and bare spots.

I just can't seem to hit that 18th fairway. Oh well, go to IN & OUT after the round and get a double double animal and enjoy.

Diamond Bar golf course was a fun and forgiving golf course with wide open fairways and fast greens. However, there rough was long and dificult to hit out of. Stay out of the rough and practice your putting because the greens were fast and hard to read at times.

course is in very good condition. greens pretty smooth and fast. well worth it if there is no fog. played in fog for 6 holes today.
