Course is back to its usual great shape. Fairways much better, though still a few brown spots. Greens very good, great speed. Exactly what I have come to expect from Rio Hondo.

Played today,11-4, and I was lucky enough to go out with the first Twilight group as a single walk-on. Thanks for the rating Greenskeeper, it sure lived up to it, especially the speed of the greens, 3... Continue »

Always a pleasure to play this course. True rough makes staying in the fairways a must. Greens always good. Wish I was a Downey resident, a little steep price for a "city" course. Doesn't keep me... Continue »

Every time I play this course I enjoy it more than the time before. I remember what this course was like prior to the renovation, and it is one of the best "remodel" jobs I've ever seen. Better than M... Continue »

Fairways were in the best shape I've ever seen them. Not thin like they generally are. Tee box's punched but course in great shape.
