THIS COURSE HAS GREAT VIEWS, RIGHT ALONG THE FOOT OF THE HILLS WITH A BEAUTIFUL BACK DROP OF THE SNOW CAP MOUNTAINS. THE COURSE LOOKS WELL MAINTAINED, THE WHOLE COURSE WAS GREEN. THE TEE BOXES WERE O.K., A LITTLE WORN ON SOME . THE FAIRWAYS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE ROUGHS ARE LUSH, THOUGH WE HAD HEAVY RAIN TWO DAYS BEFORE, IT MADE A FEW TRAPS MUDDY. THE GREENS WERE IN GOOD CONDITION, THEY DID RUN A LITTLE SLOW ON A FEW HOLES, BUT OVERALL, FINE. THE OVERALL COURSE IS TIGHT ON EVERY HOLE, YOU MUST BE A STRAIGHT SHOOTER OR YOU ARE IN THE OTHER FAIRWAY. THIS COURSE DOES TEST YOUR ACCURACY, WHICH IS GREAT. I WILL PLAY AGAIN. BUT, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A BIT WEAK, VERY SARCASTIC WHEN ASKING ABOUT ANYTHING, TIMES,FEE, RESTROOM LOCATION . . . HE MUST HAVE TOOO MANY PLAYERS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN TO THIS COURSE, BECAUSE HE WAS "COURSE"

FYI – San Dimas Canyon GC was closed Sunday due to the firestorms but sustained NO damage and is now open.

Played here on Aug. 17th afternoon. It seem like they never water the course. The fairway are so hard, brown colored in most area. Greens are extremely fast. You have to hit and drop your ball maybe 15 feet if you want the ball to get close to flag.
However, course layout is good. I like the waters in play for some holes. You have to be good in course management or you'll lose a lot of balls.

I have to say that the fairways were in extreemly poor condition. They usually have green and lush grass, but to my surprise every fairway had brown and bare areas, like hard-pan. If you hit it down... Continue »

I have to say that the fairways were in extreemly poor condition. They usually have green and lush grass, but to my surprise every fairway had brown and bare areas, like hard-pan. If you hit it down the middle, your not rewarded with a good tee shot. The tee boxes, greens and the area around the greens were in good condition.

Soft Greens, Beat Up Tees, Tough to play if you don't know where everything is. Gotta have good aim or you fall off into other fairways. Shooting over/ by water makes it tough. Long 3 pars. Watering greens while we played sucked, but only way to keep em' alive in the 90+ heat. Traps had pebbles and rocks in em'. Lost a bunch o balls. Lots of tough dog legs. Crazy 3 tiered greens (#9 and #?). May go back to redeem myself.

Walked on as a single at noon and sent straight to the tee. 15 of the 18 greens were in very good condition. Fairways were pretty good and the rough was sometimes tough. Pace of play would have been just under 4 hours, but the idiots I was with were learning to play off the blues with little to no etiquette. Keep an eye on your balls!
