The course was in pretty good shape besides the many ball marks on the greens. Despite that, as a couple others have alluded to, the greens did roll true. Play was at a crawl, we only played 14 holes and it took us 5 1/2 hours. Marshals were non-existent. We left at the 15th tee because we saw a group a couple groups up that had a six-some working. No marshal to lay the smackdown on those morons.

This was my first time to play this course since it was rebuilt. It is a beautiful course now, with great fairways, bunkers, tee boxes and great design to the greens with some interesting contours. But, the condition of the greens suck and I am being nice in saying it this way. Every green has so many ball marks that are not being fixed or cannot be fixed because of the grass/dampness/soil combination (I think). A great course is in the process of being ruined after spending millions of dollars on it. They also allow 5 somes which surprises me for a supposed "upscale" course.

I enjoy this course every time I've played it. Long rounds are not a factor because I mostly play during the week where my rounds are in the 4 - 4 1/2 hour range.

I enjoy this course every time I've played it. Long rounds are not a factor because I mostly play during the week where my rounds are in the 4 - 4 1/2 hour range.

I think the changes to the course were subtle but made a big difference to the course. The greens are tiered wonderfully and if you find yourself on the wrong tier it could get interesting.

The price during the week $41 to walk isn't too bad. Rio Hondo is $35 and I'd easily pay the $6 more to play Skylinks.
