Played 11-6-05. Had a 6:30 tee time and it took almost 5 hours to play, waited on most holes on the front nine, picked up on the back. If it's taking 5 plus to play at 6:30, what's it like at 10? That's where the Marshall's have to earn their keep. Get it moving early, at that time it should be 4 hours max. Course is in good shape, very hard fairways and hard greens. Sand traps were in great shape, to bad I was in so many. If they would drop their green fees ten dollars I would consider this course a good value, as it is, it's just a little high priced for what you get. I don't see much difference between the condition at El Dorado or Rio Hondo. Easy to get a tee time though. A buddy of ours got a 40.00 price from Click for Tee times at 11:00 AM.

Course played well even though we didn't get 18 in since we played at 2:30 pm on Sunday after daylight savings time. We got in about 12 holes.

Discounted Fee made the course worth the price; however, slow pace caused by crowded tee times and no first tee starter made it a very long day. Nice track, but get a discounted fee.

Actually played 10/16 I believe. Sunday afternoon, a bit rainy and definately overcast. Figured it was a good day to try the course since it wouldn't be heavily populated. Played behing a JAG (Teen girls??) tourney with foursomes walking and a two some in a cart. It was slow. Over all the course isn't that great. the greens are desperately thin and show quite a bit of abuse from ball marks both new (repaired quite a few) and old. The course seems to be set up quite logically with a little though and planning making it play more intelligently then 14 drivers and 4 par 3's. But then again I didn't pay $300 to hit a 5 iron on a par 4. I did quite enjoy the bunkers. Most are high lipped and the sand is nice and deep.

Nobody, I mean Nobody, ever fixes their divets. I don't know why since all of us seem to have the same complaint.

I don't know why I honestly play this course. It plays extremely slow. Hard for walk-ons to get on in the morning. Greens and area surrounding greens really are a challenge for your short game. Wait I know what it is, it's the challenge. Wish I could play better. Still cannot beleive we were breathing down the necks of a foursome turned threesome turned twosome. Either we play fast or they were playing extremely slow. In any event course could use a bit more drainage, loads of standing water and mud especially around some broken sprinklers. Greens could use a roll or two but over game play was faster than normal. Fairways are a bit burned but it is after all fall.
