A challenging course for sure...the conditions were perfect, customer service over the top...price is very high....but like a private club ++++++ rough was tough, greens were slow, but will be running fast soon!! You have to be on the fairway to score...rough is very penalizing and can tank your scores...a challenge for sure....

played on sunday and wasnt really impressed. First, arrived at the course in the morning to hit range balls, and the range is pointing right at the sun. So seeing where you hit the ball was difficult. Second, forecaddies are mandatory. Why should i pay an extra fee when greens fees are already high? Third, conditions werent that great. Alot of dry spots or burnt areas in the fairway. The views were pretty good though, but the north course doesnt really get that close to the ocean. I prefer sandpiper and torrey pines south better than the two courses they have here.

Played today twilight. The course is in outstanding shape. Especially the fairways. The greens are slow but I think that is everywhere it seems. Probably to protect against the heat. The weather was spectacular and the ocean views as well. The staff here is also outstanding. Make you feel special. Tip them well! This course is worth the money now I highly recommend it !!

The practice facility was excellent. The course was in outstanding condition. The course is an amazing golf experience. I recommend all avid golfers treat themselves to this course at least once in their life. It will leave you speechless if you love ocean golf courses.

Played this course on Friday the 5th, Only thru the great gift, "I was asked to play with my wife's bosses as a gift to her for all of her hard work". Got to love that! From the time you arrive you realize that you will be waited on constantly. And the level of customer service was everything you would expect from a resort of this quality! The North course was set up to play from four sets off tees. I really liked the course, it seemed to play to my type of game. and as a result I had a great round of golf on a beautiful course with ocean views and good friends! I probably won't be playing here soon again! But if you get the chance I would highly recommend it. I believe the South course has three holes actually looking over the Pacific! . We also stay in one of the Bungalows and ate at all of the resturants, our Christmas party was at the Andrea resturaunt, all tabs picked up by her work, hopefully my wife will never leave this company!!

Played for first time since renovations (thankfully as someone's guest), the course has really not changed much to play, but I have a few complaints: 1) For over $200 you should not need to buy a yardage book! Where's the GPS in the cart? 2) The complimentary laser slows down play because you need to see the pin 3) Every fairway had grooves from recent work 4) The greens were crunchy and the ball wasn't rolling particularly well. If you care more about the golf than the view, go to Aviara or Torrey Pines.
