Fairways and green are in very good condition. Rough needs to be cut. If you land on the rough even about 10 feet in, good luck in finding your ball. I lost about 4 in the rough. Pricey at $80.00, but with Golfextra, it was worth $40.00.

Course is in terrific condition. "Lush" would be the best word for it. The rough just off the edge of the fairway is a bit thick, 4+ inches in most areas, so it's difficult to locate your ball unless you walk right on top of it. But a ball in the short grass sits as pretty as it gets. The greens are a bit slow, but roll very true. I was impressed how most of the divots have been repaired. Nice to see conscientious golfers take care of their course. Sprinkler heads show distance to front, back, and middle. I never had to guess my distance as this course is well marked.

The front 9 is not as picturesque as the back 9 b/c it winds through the neighborhood, but the layout and quality of golf is similar to the back 9. I thought the back 9 played easier (it's 200+ yds shorter). The additional bunkering presently being added is paying dividends. I was forced to put away the driver at the appropriate time. On some holes, the longer you hit it, the tighter the landing area.

My only complaint was that we waited on nearly every hole. The starter was exacting enough, but I did not see a single marshall the entire day. Took us nearly 5 hrs to finish.

This is a fun golf course w/ moderate difficulty, but exceptionally lush conditions. I will definitely return to play again and again.

Course in great shape on 3/13. ROUGH was enormous due to them hosting some kind of Amateur tourney in a few weeks. If you miss the fairway your dead. Greens were very slow but in wonderful condition. They really just need to shave a few layers of rough and make the greens faster and it would be in the best condition I have ever played there.

Played on Sat. 2/7. Greens on back 9 was lightly aerated but heavily sanded. Found out about it only when we got to the 10th green - there were no other notices...Greens were still in great shape just a couple of weeks ago, so I don't understand the necessity of aeration and sanding. All tee boxes, fairways, rough and front 9 greens still in good shape.

Canyons 9 was closed due to maintenance, but the course offered discount rates to make up for it. The greens were quick and pretty true, fairways were good for winter. Play was pretty slow, and it can get a little jammed up coming around because of players teeing off the first hole (since they only have 9 holes in play). The course would benefit from a marshal to move slower groups along.

Pace of play continues to be slow during weekends, expect 5 hour rounds minimum. Overall condition of course is great. Fairways are green and lush. Greens are also in good condition.

Nice weather, great course, nice people. The one thing that was a little upsetting and I mean a little, was their score card, yardage book, and the tee box plaque had different yardages. We let them know and they said they would check into it.

The course was in decent shape. The pace was a little slow, but not bad. The Greens were pretty good in most spots. I will be back.
