greens are very slow and punched and sanded. Give the course a month or so to heal and shape up. Don't waste your money out there. The course is in good shape besides the recently aerated greens.

Greens and fairways are begining to harden up a bit. Rough has been cut down. It is still lush and plentiful. I got a lot more run on the fairways than usual. #2 and #15 greens were pretty hard. They seem to be more exposed to the wind than the other greens. Awesome day great course and fantastic service.

Played at 7:30 this morning. Course is in very good shape. First 6 greens were still wet as they had not been cut yet. Rough is up more than I have ever seen it here. GM says they will have to cut it down as it affects pace of play too much. They have added sand to most of the bunkers. You may get a fried egg once in a while.

Played in exactly 4 hours. No one in front of us no one behind us. Gary McCord was at the course after our round for a charity tournament.

I played this morning. Got there at 7 ( I was single) hit some balls, they called my name and I was off. The course is in great shape overall. The back is completely different than the front. It is much more difficult with baranca's and elevation change. NICE!! I really enjoyed myself, the pace of play was good ( 4.15) but I must say the greens were soft, beat up and slow. It did not go with the rest of the course which was immaculate. The guys I was playing with assurred me that the greens are much faster normally and that they must not have mowed them today.That still doesn't explain about all the divots /ball mark's on the greens. There were lots!!! However, I will definitely play here again................

If there is a better value, better lay out, better customer service, better run course around I have not found it. Played Fri, Sat and Sun. Greens are firming up for the RSM Amateur next weekend. Fairways and rough are in great shape. Some of the tee boxes are built very narrow which limits being able to move the tee markers around. Thus the par 3 boxes get beat up pretty good.

Sunday was a Men's Club event, shotgun start. We were playing at a good pace until the 17th hole. Tough hole. Cart path only on that hole. It was backed up 3 groups. We started on #10 and that side took almost 3 hours to play due to that one hole. We got to the first hole and played the front side in exactly 2 hours. No rain, no wind great brunch afterwards. Good times.

Played Friday (2.12) at 11:00 am with my Creek Card. I knew all the recent rain would affect play, but the course looks so beautiful right now and the weather was spectacular, I just had to play. Predictably, there was little roll on the fairways and the greens were spongy-slow-bumpy, but a fine day at my favorite OC course overall. It's hard to complain when you know that 1/3 of the nation is sitting in snow.

Customer service was spot-on (pro shop got me out as a single in about 20 minutes; the cart girls came around 3-4 times). The pace of play was little touch and go at times (we waited on several holes), but I didn't mind as I was happy to be outside. The round took 5 hours.

My biggest complaint is lodges at the other golfers: people, please fix your ball marks! I fixed 3-4 on EVERY green. Seriously, it's such a simple thing. Consider it a moment of pride for a good shot. Right now the greens are so soft every shot can make a mark. Let's keep our greens clean, eh?

Fairways and tee boxes (Blacks) were in very good condition. Absolutely the best value in OC. And the management was very excited to hear they won an award from Greenskeeper. Had 3 from the shop tell me how how great it was to be recognized by GK.
