I guess because I tee'd off first thing in the morning and the sprinklers were really running everywhere, the fairways were so soft, this short course played much longer than it's yardage. Greens are always the best part of this course, and the ones that were cut. (about 4 or 5 or them) were fine, otherwise too slow for my taste. Lots of bare spots in the rough however. Just a nice change of pace and always good for a quick early am round.

We played on Memorial day (at) 9:00 for 35 bucks. Jurupa is in surprisingly good shape. It's improved a lot since I last played here 6 months ago. Greens were in very good shape. They rolled true & held shots well.The breaks are hard to read - just remember they go towards the Santa Ana river generally. The fairways are nice & green and the bunker I was in had good sand. No beverage cart but new yamaha golf carts. This course is short so stay out of trouble & you can post a good score. Keep up the good work, Jurupa!

played Sunday 5-24 with a 7:33 tee time. Just show up, pay and tee off. No one behind our threesome the whole day. Finished in about 4 hours. Conditions are what you would expect for the price. Sand was firm but a least the bunkers were raked. Greens were somewhat slow. The fairways were like playing from the first cut of rough. Starter was very helpful. They have a program play 10 rounds and get a free round.

The greens are large, roll true, and are fast, the rough is being maintained, I don;t spend much time in the fairway, but they looked to be in good shape. I'd recommend the course be given another chance by those who have left in the last year due to maintenance. The staff as always are great!

Supposedly this course has just changed hands. That would explain the dramatic improvement in conditions over the past 30-45 days. It's not long, but you'd better be straight. Overall, it's a fair test, an interesting layout, and the $23 twilight fee is the best deal in town.

Even though I knew the putts break towards the river I still misread some. It was an enjoyable day.

Played last Saturday and it was HOT, triple digits but there was a breeze. It's an OK course but with the price of gas I don't think it's worth the drive unless it's somewhat local for you. It's not a long course but the trees can be a challenge if you don't hit the ball straight off the tee. The greens are a little tricky to read so I left too many short and long. The sand is another story, with all the watering we had a number of traps with water and if it was dry they were a bit on the hard side. The good side is that getting a tee time is easy, of course it did make us wonder why the parking lot was so empty... not many players but perhaps it was the heat. Since I'm from Orange County, I'll probably save the money on gas and put it towards the more local courses.
