Played 8/29. As with others, I found the course to be superb in all aspects except for the greens. The layout and scenery here is exceptional, and ranks among the prettiest and most unique courses I've played. Fairways, bunkers, tee boxes and rough were all in excellent shape.

Thus, the poor condition of the greens here is somewhat inexplicable. The greens simply do not roll true, and make for some frustrating situations when you knock it close only to have your putts roll off line. Putts outside of 2 feet are a crap shoot. Ball marks, spike marks, and divots are the problem here.

That said, it is well worth the twilight rate, and the layout really is the main attraction here. I don't know if I'd pay full freight however.

Played on 8/27 and about two weeks before that as well. This course has a great layout and good options for the low - mid - high handicaps.

The tee boxes were solid with level surfaces and the fairways were decent with good lies. However, the greens were pretty mediocore that is being nice. Punch marks, ball marks, and the lack of rolling and cutting makes these green similar to shag carpeting. On the 6th, the pin placement was next to a previous pin placement that made the surface totally irregular.

The course together in of itself is solid and economical but the only hole worth mentioning is the 14th, absolutely amazing par 3. The 9th is a great risk reward hole and the par 3 5th is a challenging yet fair hole.

Good-great practice facility.

I played this course on 8/17/2009. I was surprised the greens were in such poor
shape. There were bare spots and many bumps. It made it very hard to putt.

This course is over rated, and over priced, first played it about one month after it opened years ago, then it was nice, and worth it, now you read the reviews of players they talk about bad greens, one of my buddies played it a year or so ago, greens were bad, same thing when I did, if your going to charge that kind of coin, get the course in that dollar value shape.

Played the Rock last Thursday (8/6). Love this course, they had a great deal, $50 green fee w/ a $10 replay so my buddy and I played 36 for his birthday. Not much more I can say that has not already been said. Everything was great especially lush considering the heat this summer. The wind tends to pick up in the afternoon and it can make this course a monster. I was a little disappointed with condition of #14 their signature par 3, the green was a mess, tons of ball marks, the fringe (or where it should have been) was dry and pretty patchy at best. Overall the course was phenomenal as usual, the employees are great, the course is great, loved it! Still my favorite course in the Inland Empire.

This was my first time at Oak Quarry. I must say it is a unique setting. I thought the course was great.

However, the greens conditions were a different story. Apparently, they are being treated for a fungus. They are patchy, bumpy and pretty slow. Otherwise the course looks good.

7 of us took a buddy to play Oak Quarry to celebrate his 50th birthday. What an incredible experience. Without a doubt the most unique course I've ever played! Beautiful views and the "Quarry" is well integrated and provides an almost surreal backdrop agains the lush green fairways and water hazards.

This definately is not a grip it and rip it track. You must be accuarate off the tee to score well here. Greenskeeper in the process of aerating greens (small slices instead of large punches) as we played. Greens were medium speed and the aeration did hurt putting surface much.

Customer service is top notch and I will come back to play again. What a great experience!
