I decided to check this course out because a friend told me it is an interesting lay out. Like others have said, it is full of elevation changes and slopes, very little flat lies on this course. The par 3's are long, one was playing about 150, the other 3 played around 200. Some what small greens and most of the course did not set up well for my eye because a lot of the wholes are narrow and have some sort of trees blocking shots to the left. Not a long course in total yardage but the set up makes it difficult to score one at times. Overall the conditions were fair, a little soggy for me (Southern California is dry) but it was a beautiful course with a nice scenic drive in. It also played extremely slow, almost a 6 hour round on a Friday 1pm tee time. $35 is a steal for this area but coming from Southern California I can play a course that blows this one away for the same price. Would only paly again if I played early morning and knew I could finish in under 4 hours.

Great course, I like to play here at least once a month. You can always find a late afternoon deal online that makes it worth the drive. Some fairly short challenging hole mixed with some longer holes surrounded by bunkers, bring your bunker A game if you are not a solid iron player. Fun course, always in great condition. Can be windy at times. Love this course one of my top 5.

Played the Rock last Thursday (8/6). Love this course, they had a great deal, $50 green fee w/ a $10 replay so my buddy and I played 36 for his birthday. Not much more I can say that has not already been said. Everything was great especially lush considering the heat this summer. The wind tends to pick up in the afternoon and it can make this course a monster. I was a little disappointed with condition of #14 their signature par 3, the green was a mess, tons of ball marks, the fringe (or where it should have been) was dry and pretty patchy at best. Overall the course was phenomenal as usual, the employees are great, the course is great, loved it! Still my favorite course in the Inland Empire.

Played a twilight at this course yesterday, it was second time playing here. I played in the spring and the conditions were good then and I was surprised that they were actually good if not better yesterday considering the heat this summer, they have done a great job. This is a spot for the above 100 golfer so the pace of play is a bit slow at times which is to be expected considering the $12-$15 green fees. Overall I really enjoy the layout, its fair and can punish you if you are not hitting your drives straight, at times the course is narrow or cuts out the left side with trees and OB. Some tee boxes are a little slanted or beat up but it could be worse. As I said the average golfer is probably shooting 100-120 here so there is not much ball mark repair on the greens (when there are marks) and the fair ways can be hacked at times. I like the course still and look forward to catching another great tee time here.

This course is fun, wide/open fairways and big greens. It has some fun holes that test your ability and some easy ones but overall this course is fun. It can be overpriced at times, I usually only play this course when there are great deal on Golfnow, usually only during the week. Pace of play is great during the week. I also love the staff, if you ever need lessons go talk to Ben! He has taught, my brother and his wife as well as my girlfriend and I the game of golf.

Great course my second favorite behind Oak Quarry outside of the La Quinta/Desert area. Join their club on the Redhawk site and get a free round on your birthday (cart fee applies $12). Great design, most every hole has character and is challenging. Some beautiful holes like #8 and the downhill Par 3 on #17 and the finishing Par 5. Multi-tiered greens make you pay if you do not hit the right tier you are bound to get the evil 3 putts or like my buddy a 4 putt. I had not played hear in a few years and remember the course being immaculate which it was except for the greens. There were so many poorly repaired ball marks that on more than a few holes my playing partner and I allowed each other to move our putts up to a foot to try and fine a clean line. Other than that the course was as great as I remember it!

I like playing this course. You get some good work on your irons and wedges. No need to pull driver on most holes, you can play a great round with anything you can hit straight 200-240. I might not be playing this course much since they took it off my fav discount site. Not worth paying over $25 during the week and $35 on the weekend. Pace of place can be slow after Twilight rates hit. Overall if you can get it for the aforementioned prices its a great course for the money.
