Played here for the first time yesterday (12/15). Weather conditions were fantastic (68 degrees and sunny). Here are my thoughts on the course:
-driving range really needs some new mats (torn up and threadbare) and decent balls (beat up mixture of yellow and white really feels tacky). This is my only real complaint. I just think it sets a bad first impression with the customer. It really made me wonder why I was spending $70...
-customer service and marshalls were great. The starter was informative and humorous. Themarshalls were consistent and helpful.
-course conditions were a bit spotts (lots of dead grass and mushy spots, but hey it is the middle of december--i'd like to see how this plays is in its prime
-a few greens were still affected by some sort of fungus, but we mangaed to play around it
-the layout is nice. 1-2 reachable par 5s, but the others are definite 3 shot holes. Good use of water. The course sets up especially nice for me on the back nine where the whole thing is a big left turn. SLicers could have problems here. Several slight elevation changes and a few blind tee shots and approaches make club selection tough at times (especially or a first timer).
-we paid $70 for a saturday round but it may have been discounted since it was a company tournament, but I am not sure. It was worth it because it was a great day.
-pace of play was fine...about 4:45 (not bad for a tournament round).

Have played Temeku many times in the past and decided to try my hand again on 11/24/07. Somewhere around hole #5 I remembered why I quit playing here. The holes are just not laid out right on the front 9 and it's hard to get a game rhythm going...I don't know maybe its me, but this course drops to the bottom of ones to play.

Played on "BLACK FRIDAY", I was told this is the busiest day of the year for them, well it was near empty, and I was really surprised. Book on line for a 12:54 PM tee time($30). I arrived at 11:30 AM, and was able to start immediately. It was that empty.
The track was in godd shape, but it looked like a few of the greens where infected by fungi. The good thing is the grounds crew just position the flags away from the damage, so they did not effect any play. The is a very interesting layout with alot of slope change and angulation. It is a course I will go back and play again.

Played for first time on 11/3, the course was good, they had just punched the greens about 10 days ago, so still rolled pretty slow, I liked the course layout and design where nearby houses does not seem to get too much in your way, the starter was very nice and even asked if we would like to start from back 9, this allowed us to play for about 3.5 hr on a weekend. Nice course, great golf day. This is as good as it gets.

Only knock was the customer service when returning the golf cart made us move it because he wanted 5 feet away not behind the rest of the returned carts.

Played Sunday October 14, with red dot book it was $34.50. Course is in pretty good shape. The greens are terrific (apart from some rough spots on no.'s 1 & 2), they are fast, smooth and tricky, great fun to putt on. The fairways were good, some wet spots but almost always a good lie, the rough is at about 2 inches. The course is an excellent challenge from the tips (6650 yards), it has a good mix of holes and requires accuracy off the tee. It is a second shot golf course that doesn't require driver off every par 4 and 5. The par 3's are very tough, the shortest was 185 yards, and no. 3 plays 240 yards. The back nine is the better nine, with 18 a great finishing par 5. All in all a good track and will be back in the future.

So due to the weather, my only complaint... not enough water stations, courses in the inland empire, if you are not going to provide adequate water stations, at least put coolers on the carts so we can put bottles of water in ice and get our towels cold to cool off with. The course.. its fine, whiners will be whiners. Its hot, so the course will be wet and the greens will probably have some burn areas. uhh, and use your ball repair tool and put sand in your fairway divots too !

Well, this course is alittle overarated. more like a 6.5. I was a bit disappointed, after reading the comments, and then playing it today was not too impressive. I thought the greens where in pretty roughed up condition, it must be due to the excessive heat, because severalof the greens where in fungi damaged condition. Along with that there where many holes that had alot of either divots not being repaired or just careless players. The fairways and rough are the best part of the course. The tee boxes are damaged on serval holes, they either had un-repaired divots or just heat damage.
I probably will not play this course in awhile until I can confirm better playing condition. Not worth the $$$

A pretty good test for a golfer's game; however, golfers at Temeku sometimes do not take care of the greens. This can cause bumpy greens. When the greens are in great shape, it is a pleasure to play.
