Played Arrowood 11-28-11 around 1030... Course was wiiiide open. Nice change of pace from the last few rounds Ive had (elsewhere) Arrowood always has good flow in my opinion. Course was in great shape. They are overseeding the rough so you have to enter and exit at certain spots. I love this course. Seriously, the greens are always so great the fairways are always cut just right. Club selection is a must here as too little or too much club can get you on some downhill lies. Some of the tee boxes were wet and showed signs of new grass growing (prob was its first growth so not ready to cut) Tee boxes level... If you get the chance get out there and play. i only wish I lived closer, I would snap that membership offer right up.

Played 9/22. very enjoyable and challenging due to elevation changes and course layout. No one on the course at Fri. 1:30 pm. good discount green fee, greens were slow and slightly sandy, rough around the greens was like velcro, couldn't bounce chip shots onto greens, very soft sand and tough greenside bunkers. Good customer service in pro shop and food service- unfortunately excessively dry sandwich. Would recommend and play again

Good: Beautiful setting. Price reasonable.
Bad: Greens are covered with ball marks everywhere. Never seen it so bad. Tee boxes have divots all over the place. Snack bar is overpriced

Played here on 30 Jun. Course is in excellent shape, one of the best conditioned courses in San Diego right now. Got out for $40, would pay twice that to play here again.

It had been a few years since I last played here. I forgot just how nice this course is. Condition was great with the exception of a few bunkers. The greens were too slow for my taste, but that might have been due to the fact that I was in front of maintainence and they were not yet cut. I really enjoyed the layout, much more than I remember. Won't wait so longto return again. Staff was great!

Played on Sunday afternoon and was behind a tournament that slowwwed play down. Why is it that tournaments play so slow? anyway, The course is in great shape. a couple of fairways had been punched recently and were healing nicely. The rest were in great shape. The greens were smooth and in great shape and were medium speed. Bunkers were firm and nice and the tee boxes were level and in good shape. No cart girl but the starter and marshall were friendly and the bag boys were great. Great course for the money.

Just finished playing this great golf course. The course is in great condition except for a couple of fairways that have been aerated. The first hole is one that has been punched. The other fairways are in great condition and give a lot of roll. The greens are very smooth and roll absolutely true, but are pretty firm even though they were aerated 2 months ago. There are quite a few elevation changes and almost all the holes play either up the hill or down. Overall the course is not too difficult until you reach the finishing holes. Sixteen, seventeen and eighteen can and will bite you in the butt. The sixteenth hole may be the toughest par 4 in Southern California; 465 from the blacks, 442 from the blues, downhill but into the wind and a large pond on 3 sides of the green. All lies in the fairway or rough are downhill. A bogey is not that bad. This is a really fun course. I paid only $45.00 as a senior; Monday – Thursday. Well worth the green fees.

Great course, while fairways are now dormant you can see the care that goes into them and you better hit them, the rough is just that high and tough, good luck finding your ball. Tee boxes all well kept and level, sand traps well maintained, greens were a little slow but held well hits shots. Staff was excellent from front desk to starter, who gave us some great info about putting the greens, to the cart boy. Finished in about 4 1/4 hours. Nice snack bar. Definitely worth the price and another visit.
