Played here on 4/9 for the first time in a year and I would say that this is one of the better conditioned course that I have played this winter/spring season. The fairway had more body to them than I can ever remember. Still a few to many ball marks on the greens otherwise the greens were in better than average condition, firm and smooth. Most traps were in above average condition BUT there are a few that could use some more sand. Customer service was great. We played at 8 AM and the pace of play was good, right around 4 hours. A MUST play again!

Was looking for a course under $80 between LA and Stone Brewery in Escondido and thanks to GolfNow this was a great choice. This course was a great change from LA courses as it was well watered and very green. The layout is very fun including island greens, drive-able par 4's, and par 5's you can get to in two. The wind picked up a bit after lunch and the greens killed my putts per hole average but for the price I would highly recommend this course. No cart girl BTW

First time playing Arrowood. Payed $57 to play on 4/6/2012. Course was in nice condition. Tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were running fast. Most of the greens were in good shape. Some had bad divot marks. Never saw a cart girl. Pace of play was a bit slow, but overall enjoyed the course and will come back again.

Played last weekend with fuzz in our match play. I'd say the course was overall in fairly good shape even with the rain that we had the night before. There were two holes on the back which were fairway only because they were a little damp but I was actually surprised the course was not wetter. Greens were soft and relatively smooth but looks like a few golfers need to repair their marks. Greens aren't too fast but I think they picked up the pace as the day wore on and dried out. I was in quite a few traps and other than the first one which was thin the others were in great shape. This is a good course and it's pretty convenient to meet those guys from the OC at since it is about half way for them and us. It was $75 for the round which is not the greatest but a decent value if you ask me.

Played twilight at 1PM on Saturday, 3/24/12, in a GK South Region match with bnick13. Course is in very good shape coming out of aeration at the end of February. Greens were a little slow but rolled well and held shots. Fairways were cut close for winter a little thin, but the overall visual appeal of the layout and conditioning is high. Bunkers mostly had good sand but there was some inconsistency as we went through the holes. Friendly staff, cart girl came by several times, water available on the course, and good food in the grill. Recommended.

Played yesterday afternoon in GK match play, enjoyed this course and the layout very much. The fairways were cut down but not unplayable, only had two bad lies in the fairways and I was sitting in a little pit both times. The rough was not difficult to play out of. Tee boxes were level with plenty of grass. Sand traps were inconsistent some fluffy some wet, some thin.(some deep fairway bunkers on this course with sharp steep faces on them so you can be penalized by hitting in them). Greens were punched 3 weeks ago and are still healing but playable. Our group fixed a lot of divots on the greens, spread the word GKer's let's take care of our courses. I recommend this course for all levels of play.

Played at Arrowood this afternoon with dconnally and bnick13 in their GK Cup match. It was my first time playing the course and I enjoyed it overall. For the most part, the course is pretty forgiving, I though, but you do have to be careful (especially if you play a fade like me) because many of the fairways slope right and into trouble. The finishing 16-18 holes are pretty darn tough, though! 16 is a beast as their signature hole.

The course was in OK shape, still pretty much winter conditions. The fairways were thin and dried out. The rough was pretty nice for the most part. Sand traps seemed decent. Greens were a bit chewed up. Still recovering a bit from recent aeration, so pretty bumpy and slow especially in the afternoon. Tee boxes in nice shape. There weren't too many people out there, so we played in just about 4 hours. We did run into a log jam of groups the final few holes, but not bad overall.

Played last Sunday and there was no one on the course. We had a tee time at 9:30 and there were a good amount of people making the turn already when I got there but we teed off early and had a single play through us on the back 9. Overall the course was a tad wet in low lying spots but other than that I thought the conditions were very good. I wondered why I don't play it more often. I can understand the last reviewers comment about the tee boxes but I'd prefer these over some tee boxes that are thin and probably full of divots. Greens were soft from the water too so they really held shots. The pace wasn't too fast, just right but they still some tricky reads. I had only played here once before so if you haven't played here some course knowledge is useful so invest in a yardage book or something. I had a couple of shots which I hit which I realized after the fact weren't the spots to be in.
