“San Diego’s best kept secret” so the recording states. I don’t think Eagle Crest Golf Club is going to remain much of a secret anymore. I’ve played this course 4 times including yesterday. I’d say it’s the best value for golf in San Diego. It plays like a high end facility but not at the price. Right now the course is in really good shape so check it out!

FYI – Although the area was evacuated Sunday due to the firestorms, Eagle Crest GC sustained NO damage and is open.

I used to play this course when it first opened and loved it. It has had pleanty of time to mature. The course was in the worst shape I have ever seen. It is a shame because the layout is tremendous. It is a shame that American Golf has screwed up another course as nice as this one. I don't know how this corporation stays around, it seems like every course they touch falls apart.

First time playing this course and well worth the money, just too bad I played for FREE!!Beautiful clubhouse and bar area.Course was really challenging and required smart play, especially with your irons. Can open up on some holes but if you make a mistake you'd better just hope you can scramble for a decent score.
