I just move from San Diego to Minneapolis, Minnesota this past winter and I use to play at Mission Trails Golf Course, it's cheap and within driving distance. The golf course is ok by my standard. Like I've said, it's cheap.

Walked on 3/8 and teed off at 0725, unfortunately behind back to back Japanese foursomes (VERY slow players with no course etiquette and had to repaired 5-6 divots on every green). Other than waiting... Continue »

Walked on 3/8 and teed off at 0725, unfortunately behind back to back Japanese foursomes (VERY slow players with no course etiquette and had to repaired 5-6 divots on every green). Other than waiting every shot, the course has been well maintained, though they are redoing the 11th fairway and have changed on of my favorite par 4's in San Diego to a 142 yard par 3. The staff in the pro-sop, the starter and the wait staff were very courteous and did their best to ensure they could provide anything that was requested. Always an enjoyable course and one well suited to take the driving range ideas onto the course.

Played today. The course is in decent shape despite the fact that some idiot went out onto the course in his truck and tore up a bunch of holes on the back nine. One green and one tee box are closed... Continue »

Played today. The course is in decent shape despite the fact that some idiot went out onto the course in his truck and tore up a bunch of holes on the back nine. One green and one tee box are closed but there are replacements. Expect to be upset to find that the green on 16 is now just the fairway. The front nine was unharmed and played very fair. Definitely worth the time and money, great cheap course as always.

This is a fun, confidence inspiring course that my friends and I play when we want to humor ourselves. If you're having a good day, expect to shoot at least 4 strokes lower than your handicap because it is a short course. Trails can reward those who take risks, but I would advise playing the safe shot at every hole.

I have played this course many times...it seems that the drainage ditches are still there, I don't kow what to say but, yea drainage ditches on the front nine......

nice people in the pro-shop and bar...
driving range is ok, open late and they have a light on the chipping/green so you can work on stuff at night
overall I will never stop playing the TrailS!!!

Played 10/11. A half of each green is sanded right now, but they are still rolling pretty well. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Front 9 was very slow but pace got much better at the turn.

No maitenance despite the warning, went out and played yesterday good round not many people there but they didn't have the grill out so we had to settle for microwaved hot dogs. Overall fun round.

This is a relatively easy course. nothing too challenging. We teed off around 6:30 AM in heavy fog (sorry, marine layer) which took us over the normal pace of play. The fairways and greens are in good shape and the rough makes it interesting as they hadn't cut it too short. Service is excellent, from the pro-shop to the cart girls to the guy at 10 cooking on the grill. A true pleasure @ $52 on the weekend!
