Played 5/15/09 after not playing here for about one year. Called for time at about 7:00 am and got a 8:40 am starting time. Went out as a twosome. Pace of play was a little slower than usual - took us 4 1/2 hours to finish. I like this course, though I have never played well here. Course was in very good condition. Though bunkers were wet and had puddles. The front nine is much more visually pleasing than the back side as well as more interesting to play. For the hacker and duffer like me there is lots of trouble to find, and I found it on most holes. The greens, at least for me, where tough, most putts are slopped and the hole locations were on inclines as well. Even though I did not score very well, actually I scored pretty bad, I had a great time!

Played the course on 4/10/2009 in the AM. Weather was a little cool & cloudy but very calm. Course is in good condition. Tee boxes in good condition. Fairways in good shape. Rough was not too long. Greens were in excellent condition considering that aeration was done about a month ago. Bunkers are the only part of the course in poor shape. They were hard packed wet sand, not fluffy sand. Pro shop staff were friendly, but I can't say the same for the restaurant.

Played yesterday. Course in ok but not stellar shape like usual. Friendly staff and fellow golfers.

I took two of my best friends out there to celebrate their birth days...aldough they are mid 90's players, they wanted to hit from the black tees...Well, the marshall keepr following us for the first six holes telling them how bad they were and that they should be playing from the whites...We were not delaying any one, they had plenty of balls so they wouldn't try and find each one they miss hit.Didn't I pay my green fee? Am I not entiled to let them play from which ever tee they wanted. Bad, too bad...

For the sheer number of maintenance personnel, sprinklers and ground under repair we had to negotiate today Cam Springs should look a whole lot better. We started at 9:45 or so and the first 1/2 was so wet you'd think it had rained hard this week. We had a good round, but I have to wonder what is preventing the management from improving conditions at the course.

Still, its close to my house and I've played Cam Springs more than any other course so I'm sure I'll keep going.

horrible sand traps, unlevel tee boxes. fairways were in pretty good shape, greens were decent but many were bumpy. Decent layout but finding a level spot to tee it up gives me fits. Seemed like the entire landing area on 16 was ground under repair.

Course in good shape considering the heat. Traps might as well be paved over. Sand hard packed. Pace slow.

Course was in best shape that I have ever seen it. The fairways were lush, as was the rough. Greens were in very good shape as well.

As I have said before, the front nine is more interesting and fun than the back nine. Though I probably feel this way as I score better on the front.

Hopefully they will keep the condition of this course up.

Played early Saturday. Course was in good condition. Some teeboxes were unleveled. Fairways were okay after maintenance. Alot of plugs that stopped your ball from rolling. Traps seemed alittle hard. Greens were great though. Wind was pretty strong and for some reason it felt like August, with the heat. I agree with bgpoppa about the price. There should be a difference if you want to walk the course. Nevertheless, was a good round. Hope to come back... but not too soon.
