Played last Sunday 5/18. Course is in great shape. Some of the greens are still recovering from aeration so they were not as smooth and fast as the last time I played. Fairways are perfect. Watch out for the wind. Great time.

I have played there a couple of times and the fairways and tee boxes are great the greens are a little bare and not in the best of shape. The big problem is that the wind makes the course unplayable, the flages were bent over so far that they looked as if they were going to snap. With the wind the course is totally unplayable unless you putt your ball from tee to green but then you can't mark your ball on the green because the wind will just blow the ball off without ever letting it stop.

Played 36 today. Conditions are primo! The greens are coming back to life, and are quickly getting quicker. This is a tough place to make par. 11/10!!!

A superbly enjoyable course with some long walks between holes. Because the course is on a hill, some holes play much more downhill than they appear. We teed off at 6:55am on Fri 5/2 and played in just over 4 hours with very little waiting. Although I've played there 3 times, the greens and surrounding areas still pose a steep challenge. However, the ultra-wide fairways generally make it pretty easy to avoid trouble off the tee. The blue tees are significantly longer and more difficult than the white. A very relaxed, out-of-town feeling.

Played the course on 4/21. Greens were a little bumpy but the course was in excellent shaped. Great deal for $35. Well manicured Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. Watch out for snakes on 16! ... Continue »

we really enjoyed playing at rustic, I thought the fairways were about the best of any local courses, for 35.00 on a wednesday I thought it was a bargain. The only problem was the aeration of the greens which made for a tough day of putting on what would normally be very tough greens anyways. Overall I highly recommend this course for golfers of all caliber

Played today. Wind picked up to 30 mph making the front unbearable. Conditions are 9.5/10 ! Just perfect! I give the back 5/5 for lusher fairways...aeration this M, T, W...have fun and be creative.

Played Rustic Canyon on 3/27/03 for the first time and played rather decently (91). Fairways are wide and in great shape. The greens are slick but rolls beautifully. You have to pay attention to the yardage to the front of the green because that is the yardage you want to hit to. Can't wait to play it again as local knowledge is definitely an asset. I loved the fact that on short putts you can hit it solidly and it will go in. The wind on the back nine was ferocious making for interesting club selection. 2 club wind was not unusual. Could not believe that on some holes the distance between the middle of the green and the back was 30 yards. This course is a definite asset.
