Played Thursday afternoon, off at 4:15 and got 18 in by dark ~ 7:15. Course is showing a little wear and tear from the summer play, particularly from the carts where they go on and off the fairways. Greens are OK - little bumpy but nice speed - med fast; fairways OK some areas are thin or worn. Sand in great shape.

Played from the blacks for the first time. It gives you a nice view of what the course designer had in mind as you can see many of the holes better from the back tees. Even if you play further up it is not a bad idea to walk back (or walk by) and take a look prior to teeing off.

They are going to aeriate on Oct 18th so it is a good alternative in the area right now as most courses around the county have already begun their fall work.

I think this a Rustic are the best courses in the area - not as 'tricked up" as Lost Canyons and Morepark and certainly a better value. Both courses are also great walking courses.

I gave this course a try based on the ratings and comments posted on this site. Seemed like a logical choice to escape the heat of Pasadena. Well the drive took about an hour and half which was longer then expected and the pace of play was pretty slow but the course was indeed in very good shape and the temperature was indeed cooler. The yardage is deceiving as I found most of the course plays uphill. The layout was interesting and challenging but not scenic. The course really tests all aspects of your game. I liked it and will play again.

This is the best course I have ever been to when i rated it i gave it nines on everything.

Course and especially greens have matured nicely.Read the other feedbacks and I don't think there are to many negatives.

Went out as a single @ 3:30, got right on. Finished at 7:15. Walked for $31. Can't beat it. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in good shape. Very enjoyable afternoon.

This course is always in great shape. For the price, there is no reason to play the local goat pastures.
