Overall golf course in nice shape.The wind was blowing pretty good when I played which made it very difficult.Some of the greens still don't hold that well.Course is starting to mature quite nicely.Without the wind it was worth the greens fee.

SH rocks. I had a wonderful time playing here and the weather couldn't have been better. Course was in superb condition for it being mid-February. Pace of play was good, fairways lush, can't complain.... Continue »

Had not played SH in a while and found it to be in terrific shape. The bunkers particularly were in perfect shape - I know since I think I found most of them in this round! Price is up and there is an extra charge if you want the GPS system in the cart activated. The GPS is great and very user friendly and functional, but I didn't like being nickel and dimed for the extra feature. Greens are fast and challenging.

Played Sterling Hills for 28 dollars after 2pm and felt it was rather worth it. The course conditions were ok. Fairways were lush, and the greens were quick and rolled rather true.

Played Sterling Hills for 28 dollars after 2pm and felt it was rather worth it. The course conditions were ok. Fairways were lush, and the greens were quick and rolled rather true.
The course was rather busy, but I think it is quite typical for a Saturday afternoon. Good layout and adequate green fees make this course a treat to play.

Been playin' here of late. At best this place is a 7/10...tee boxes--bogey. Bunkers--double. Greens--good. Fwys--very nice. Staff--excellent. But a true course deserving of an 8.5/10 like INDUSTRY HIL... Continue »

Been playin' here of late. At best this place is a 7/10...tee boxes--bogey. Bunkers--double. Greens--good. Fwys--very nice. Staff--excellent. But a true course deserving of an 8.5/10 like INDUSTRY HILLS, this place is not. But for the price, consider this a fair test for the single handicapper. For the teener, difficult. For the high, stay home.

Played in 4.5 hrs on Saturday, Course in decent shape but a little less "Sterling" than in recent past. Seemed very very wet everywhere. Carts fee required on Saturdays is disappointing on an easy to walk course. Also carts now have new GPS system installed and they are charging $5 per player if you want to use the system. Seems with a required cart fee you should automatically be able to use the installed equipment. This nickel and dime type attitude is unfortunate, but if the place is packed, which it was and no one complains, good for them..
