I got the usual rude treatment I've come to expect from the staff at Tierra Rejada. Warning: DON"T BOOK YOUR TEETIME ONLINE! For the third time now, they didn't have my tee time I booked online even though I was told by the manager it wouldn't be a problem anymore months ago. When I informed the starter that this was the 3rd this happened, she was nice enough to inform me that it's not her department and laughed. The other two times this happened, both of the starters couldn't care less. She also said that almost no one books their tee time online there even though it'a all over their website. Interesting.

However, I did finally get out there and the course is in very good condition. Fairways were good and greens were rolling great. This is a punishing course if your game is slightly off like mine was today. You definitely need to be accurate if you want to shoot a good score.

I played on 6/15, and the course is in good shape considering the dry weather. The front nine can be difficult because off the white and blue tee boxes you have to carry the hazard, not to mention there's OB/hazard to the left/rights side of the holes, but the spectacular views surrounding the front nine will help ease the frustation. I would play here again if it was a bit closer to Orange County.

Course was in decent shape. The lack of rain is starting to catch up with almost all courses right now, but Tierra Rejada is trying to keep the place looking green. Nothing really to complain about today, but really nothing to really point out as being great either.

This course is in very nice shape, only complaint was a lot of unfixed ball marks on the greens.

Fairways are lush - this deserves a better rating than it has.

Played here last week and had a great time. I had never seen the course before so my scores were a little higher than normal. Greens were in great shape, but note that if you are putting west they are lightening, putting east are very slow. There are quite a few blind shots, so course knowledge is a plus. The round took just a hair over 4 hours, but could have been faster if we all came with a better game then we did. Played with the Red Dot and it only cost $40. The hills aroung the greens and fairways came help a bad shot. Was a 60 mile drive to get to the course, but found it worth every mile.

Played 10/19. Unless you like blind shots and gimicky holes, this isn't the place for you. But in spite of the poor design on a few holes, usually the place is in really good shape. Today, it was dreadful. The greens were indeed very nice, but the tee boxes (White) were very uneven and often it was difficult to get a stance due to all the bumps and rolls. The fairways were at best thin, but were often bare and/or rock hard. It was like hitting off a towel on the garage floor. Some holes' fairways on the back were nothing but divots in landing areas. I expect these conditions from a $30 muni, but not from a higher-end daily fee course like Tierra Rejada. Even though they could use a little marshalling, the people are top notch. It is unlikely that this will be a course that we will play again.

This course has a night and day front and back nine with the front nine having some quirky holes that can be especially hard to play the first two or three times you come out to the course. Had a great round on Sunday. Had an 8:08 tee time and started about 5 minutes late. Some waiting, but we got through the round in 4 1/2 hours, so really can't complain. Course was in good condition. Greens and sand traps very good. tee boxes also very good. Some spots in the fairways were a bit thin, and several of the rough areas bordering the fairways were thin and in some cases had bare patches. A great alternative to Moorpark CC and fairly easy top get a good tee time any day of the week.
