Late review. Played in Laughlin a few weeks ago and with the weather in Vegas dicey I thought I'd post all my reviews of the area. This is the premier golf course in the area and a real treat to play. A real challenge except they could use one more tee marker. Plenty of different tee boxes not in use, however it was either 6,600 or 6,100. They even had a combo set for the forward tees, can't believe they didn't have a set at 6,300 or so. Set in the hills above the river I assume it is always windy here and it blew between one and two clubs pretty steady. Fairways looked a little spotty but played fine, bunkers had good soft sand and greens were smooth and fast. They did a great job with this piece of property. Very scenic.
Just a really outstanding golf course as many lucky GKers already know. A must play.
Course is pretty pricey, but I think some of the casinos have stay and play packages. Staff was top notch and I played late and on the pro shop recommendation I had dinner in the restaurant after the round. Place was busier than the golf course but quite tasty and reasonably priced. I highly recommend both.
