Played Thursday 7/30. Los Lagos is an enjoyable layout. Although the holes are fairly straight there are plenty of fairway bunkers, green side bunkers, and a couple of water hazards to negotiate. The course design allows for golfers of all skill levels to have an enjoyable round. P.S. If the wind picks up the course becomes considerably more difficult to negotiate because there are no barriers to the wind.

The greens are in good shape. Like the greens of other courses in the area they are grainy and slower than they look. They do roll good though you just need to strike your putts firmly. I do not impart a lot of spin with my irons. With that said my mid iron shots held the greens with only a few feet of release.

The fairways are in very good shape. The rough is good with only a few bare spots. The bunkers are in nice condition. The tee boxes are also good.

The clubhouse is due to open next week. As the previous reviewer wrote it was to open next week a month ago. But I was told the trailer they are using is being picked up on August 1st so they have no choice but to open the clubhouse. The staff was very nice and the maintenance workers very courteous. The golf carts have a small ice chest on them and there is water about every 2-3 holes.

Playing on a Thursday for $40 including range balls and playing in just under 3hrs (teed off at 6:30am by myself) is great. I will definitely be back when I visit Laughlin again.

We went as a group of 8 from Southern California. Everyone thought the course was a great lay-out and in excellent condition, except the greens were inconsistent from hole to hole. The inconsistency of the greens may be the result of us playing during non-season. The different tees provided a challenging, but fair, course for each player in our group, and thus handicapping became a non-factor. Danny and his staff were great. The opening of the clubhouse this weekend should greatly complement the course and practice facilities consisting of a putting green, chipping green, and range. The only complaint outside of the inconsistency of the greens is proving more water on the course, such as every other or 3rd hole and more ice to fill the golf cart ice chests...at least in the summer. Looking forward to the next trip to Los Lagos.
