played late June. From the beginning loved the customer service and the layout. Desert golf without tricked up holes. Very playable for all levels. beautiful conditioning. My son and I played through slower groups and although 108 degrees it was a great day.

Really not much to say about the experiance except if you are in town go play it you will enjoy it.

I signed up for their email specials and received a $45.00 green fee. Highly reccomend playing here. Staff is very friendly

From the moment you drive into the parking lot you know that you have made a wise choice on where to play. Everything about this course says Championship layout.
The practice facilities here are exceptional, well marked and a joy to nail down your distance for the day. The practice greens are smooth and roll true with a good indication of what to expect on the course. Customer service is terrific almost to the point of jumping to your every need.
On this day the course was just slightly more crowded then I like, but not to the point of long brutal waits on the tee. The tees here are level, lush and very easy to find a place to put you ball, even the par 3 tee boxes showed very little divot damage and what was there is repaired properly.
The fairways are lush, and have a respectable amount of roll, nothing that is going to add 50-60 yards to your normal tee shot, just a nice roll out to a well struck tee shot. The rough is 2-3 inches with varying lies, if your lucky to catch one sitting up it is a easy recovery, catch one sitting down or with the grass between the club and ball and you have some serious problems as a few double bogeys on the day will testify to.
The sand is very playable, but be warned the bunkers are deep on many hole and trying to bite off more than a decent recovery will lead to more problems. Try not to get fancy in the green side bunkers just get the ball out, taking the other approach again will lead to problems. The Greens are some of the best I have seen this season, med to fast, with lots of hidden breaks, and breaks you can see, but rolling true with little to no bounce noted. To me these greens did not have a common break, such as to the mountains or valley so take a look at all sides before you make your mind up.
Overall I would rate this course exceptional and well worth the price, this should be on any golfers list, as a most play!

Played nine holes today with the Club Whisperer. I know this course gets over seeded in a month, but it is in fantastic shape right now. The fairways are lush. The rain we've had has made them soft, so there is not much roll. The rough is nice and thick. It can be hard to control your ball. It produced a lot of "fliers." The greens were soft. They were a medium speed, about a 9.5. They held good shots and rolled true.

Grayhawk has great service all around. There are 2 full practice ranges that have every shot you can imagine. I think you can play for as low as $35+tax which includes practice balls. They are getting it ready for a Pepsi Tour event next Saturday.

Played 9/3. Very beautiful and challenging. Tee boxes excellent. Rough very thick, like it should be, and penal. The fairways were a little too long, as the bermuda would at times grab the hosel of the club and take the shot left. Green were smooth but were quite a bit slower than the practice green, and very grainy. Overall it met my expectations and I would highly recommend, since the staff probably let the grass grow a little higher since it has been around 110 degrees for the last week.

Played 9/12. Morning tee time. Course played soft. We got the Club Whisper rate of $27. Thru out the summer I got emails ranging from $35 to $55 to play the course. In season It's $100+. Golf course was in immaculate shape 3 weeks before over seed. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, sand traps, and greens were all in great shape. I'm submitting some new photos so every one can judge for themselves.

Talon is 6973 yards. 73.6/143. It's the shorter of the two courses, but it's tighter off the tee than Raptor It has 4 sets of tees, so all levels can enjoy playing it. The most memorable hole is #17 " Devils's Drink." A short 126 yard Par 3 to an island green.

Service was outstanding. Food was good. Each course has its own practice facility. Both are first rate. Many touring pros who live in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area practice here. Definitely on my favorites list.

Greyhawk are both beautiful courses, but I do like Talon. Really fun desert course - tough but fair. Greens are typically exceptional at Greyhawk as are the fairways. Great place.

Greens were still in good shape. A little slower than usual. Rough was cut short. Sand traps were good. Give it 2-3 weeks & it will be in great shape. Each course has its own great practice range. The staff & service were excellent. Submitting a few photos. Mostly Tee shots.

played feb 28 at 11am for 225$ which was the most we played at any course this year. The course was in poor shape and after 9 holes the play ground to a halt. We were playing with a local who plays there alot and said that this was the norm. There are alot better tracks in the area for alot less. I would not recommend this track to anyone unless you get a deal for less the 100$
