I got out to Talking Stick Piipaash for a 903 tee time on Thursday, 9/1. Rate was $40 with range balls included. Yesterday was the first time I’ve played here in at least ten years.
Looks like a lot of play going on early with a few groups here and there when we played.
Course conditions were good for late summer in Arizona. The fairways weren’t super green but had playable grass on them. No rough to speak of on the course with desert areas if you went way offline with tee shots.
Greens were on the firm side but rolled good. The front pin locations were in difficult spots and all pin locations seemed to have you putting uphill with some pretty severe breaks.
Overall, a fun play given the price. The course isn’t going to kill you with forced desert carries but still provides an average challenge.
