Played 5-9-26. They had a shotgun start on the back at 8 o'clock and let me go out around 7:30 as a single. Didn't see anybody on the course until I got to the ninth hole where I could see players on the first hole which parallels the ninth. Nobody on the back nine either, finishing in about2 2 hours and 45 minutes with the course pretty much all to myself. Tee boxes were in decent shape, mostly level and cut tight with some divot damage on par threes. Fairways were in good condition, mostly lush with good roll out and nice lies. Rough was maybe and inch longer than fairways at the most. It was in good shape and not much of an issue to hit from. Was in two greenside bunkers that were well groomed with a good layer of brown sand. Greens were rolling at a medium/fast pace and playing soft. Unfortunately recent players are not fixing there pitch marks. I fixed at least 15-20 unrepaired marks on almost ever hole. If you had a putt with no marks on your line they rolled pretty smooth, otherwise you were most likely to have a bumpy putt. I just wish other people who play would have a little consideration for the condition of the course and just fix the damage that they cause. Will still be back to play because this is such a fun course to play.

Played 1-23-26 as a single in a little over 2 1/2 hours in early morning fog that hung around for most of the round. Greens are in real nice shape, rolling smooth at medium/fast pace and playing soft. Fairways are in nice condition, a little on the dormant side, with decent roll out and semi-tight lies with good padding. Rough was in good condition, maybe an inch longer than the fairways, and mostly dormant and easy to hit from. Was in one greenside bunker that was nicely groomed, and had a good layer of nice brown sand. Tee boxes were in okay shape, a little on the thin side except for the par threes which they had over seeded. Nice conditions all around and well worth playing.

Played 5-20-2025 early morning walking as a single for $33 (rewards/sr rate) and finishing in under three hours. Tee boxes were in good condition, level with nice coverage, with some of the three pars having a little divot damage. Fairways were in real good shape, coming out of dormancy, a light green right now with nice lies and good roll out. Rough along fairways is only about an inch longer and playing very nice. Was in one greenside bunker that had a good layer of nice brown sand. Greens were playing soft and mostly smooth at medium/fast pace. Only problem with the greens was there were a lot of poorly, and unrepaired pitch marks. I fixed at least 10 on each green and could have fixed more. Not the courses fault, just other players who don't have the courtesy to repair the damage they cause on the greens. Overall course is in good condition and worth playing. Cant what to go back.

Played 6-2-24 in the morning as a threesome, finishing in about 4 1/2 hours with very little waiting. Tee boxes were in good shape, mostly level with decent coverage. Fairways were in really good condition, nice green Bermuda with great lies and decent roll out. Rough was in good shape, only about an inch longer than fairways and easy to hit from. Was in one fairway bunker that had a decent layer of firm sand. Greens were in good shape rolling smooth at medium/slow pace. and playing semi-soft. Overall good conditions on a fun track.

Played 9-30-23 afternoon walking as a single. Went out after an earlier shotgun start so had the course to myself, and finished in a little under 3 hours. Overall course is in about the same shape it was when I played here a couple of weeks ago. Still lush all around in fairways and rough. Greens and tees in good condition, bunkers nicely groomed with decent sand. Highly recommend playing if in the area.

Played 9-17-23 early morning walking as a single for $51and finishing in about 3 hours. Tee boxes were in okay shape, mostly level and a little thin with some divot damage on par threes. Fairways were in great condition, very nice summer Bermuda with great lies and decent roll out. Rough was in really good condition, 1-3 inches of healthy Bermuda, which the ball would sit down in a little. Was in one greenside bunker that had a decent layer of heavy brown sand that was nice to hit from. Greens were in good shape, very soft, rolling medium speed, and fairly true with an occasional bump from poorly repaired pitch marks. Overall conditions are very nice, and well worth playing.

Played 8-5-23 early morning as a single, getting around the course in a little under 4 hours waiting on a threesome for most of the day. Tee boxes were in decent shape, mostly level with some divot damage on par threes. Fairways were nice and green with great lies, but minimal roll out with some early morning damp areas from all the watering. Rough is 1-2 inches longer than fairways and very lush with the ball sitting down occasionally in the Bermuda grass. Areas outside the rough still have some thick heavy grass, but not as much as normal, noticed a few more thinner and bare spots than normal. Was not in any bunkers, but they looked to be in decent shape with a decent layer of brown sand. Greens are very soft right now, rolling medium pace and smooth except where you might hit a poorly repaired pitch mark. Overall conditions are good, and worth a trip to play.

Played 4-20-23 mid morning walking as a twosome and finishing in about 4 hours with some minor waiting. Tee boxes were in good condition, level and cut tight with some divot damage on par threes, but tee boxes are pretty large so you can always find some nice turf to hit from. Fairways are very wide and starting to come out of dormancy so looks wise they are a yellow/green color but playing very nice with good tight lies and a lot of roll out. Rough is about an inch longer than fairways and in good shape, edges along the rough is very thick right now and between 1-2 feet. Was in a couple of greenside bunkers that that had a decent layer of brown coarse sand. Greens were in good shape rolling medium pace and playing soft, they are very large with some tricky subtle breaks. Overall condition are very nice and as the weather warms up they will only be getting better.

Finally made it back out to Ridge Creek after about a 6-7 month hiatus. I almost forgot how much fun (and tough) this course is. We got it on a perfect sunny 72 degree day that made it a pleasant ... Continue »

Finally made it back out to Ridge Creek after about a 6-7 month hiatus. I almost forgot how much fun (and tough) this course is. We got it on a perfect sunny 72 degree day that made it a pleasant walk. The course is still transitioning from winter dormant to its lush summer green so the fairways still have a lot of brown to them but they present a great lush hitting surface as well as offer plenty of roll out.

Greens were receptive to approach shots and rolled true at a medium pace. RC usually aerates their greens in June so the greens are starting to show signs of heavy use in regards to pitch marks. Greens at Ridge Creek are nice and large and at first appearance appear docile but they present plenty of challenges in regards to breaks.

It looks like they have completed all of the bunker restoration. The sand is a very grainy almost small pebbles, but it’s deep enough to easily get a club under and it’s consistent.

Tee boxes were fine. RC has some very wide tee markers so you can usually find a good level spot that’s divot free.

Many of us have mentioned it before and I’ll say it an again. Keep it between the lines off the tee and the course is for the taking (2 birdies on the back nine) Stray off line and you will be adding those OnCores’s to auto ship! Theirs is a “first cut” of rough which is only about an inch tall. After that it 2’ tall weeds. I shot 11 strokes better on the back just by finding fairways.

Bottom line good track, good conditions and good times Restaurant is also worth eating at.
