Played mid-morning on Sun May 9. Overall, the course is in pretty good shape. The greens have been smoother and faster, but they're certainly good right now. The only thing I noticed was that the fairways are a little shaggier than normal. Once they cut them though, the course will play much faster than what I played this morning. This is the best public facility in SoCal in my opinion. The staff does a great job and the awards show that people are noticing.

Played this morning at 9:30 AM and conditions were better than expected. This was my first time playing the "Babe" and even the greens were punched about 3-weeks prior, they were rolling pretty decent.

Pace of play was fantastic. There were not too many people out playing and the starter let me and my buddy tee off. It took us about 3-hours to complete the round including the few holes were each played two balls!

This place is very well manicured. The tee boxes were perfect, the fairways were even better. Sand traps were in good condition. Overall, this place is definitely worth the money and lives up to the great reputation as one of the best courses to play in Southern California.

I definitely plan on playing here again.

Most enjoyable round in recent years. The course is in country club condition. I love this course becouse you have to hit straight and use your brain to shoot score, still fair.
I would say its condition is better than several years ago.
It's worth for whatever you paid!

Well worth the green fee. A narrow course for my game, but not overly so if you hit it straight. The greens rolled true and most were tiered in some fashion. The course was nice and open considering the qualifier for the Northern Trust Open was being played on the other 18. Only one drawback in my book; a 240 yard 3 par (300 from the tips). That hole was a bit much for me. Overall, I would recommend this course.

The fairways are very tight, and the rough is very lush. The tee boxes are in good shape, but I think they need to be cut a little lower. All 36 holes at this facility are in tip top shape - now is the time to play here.

Played this morning at 7am. Course in very good condition, with the exception of the first few fairways. Hole #1, #3 and #5 had some bare areas in the fairway. There were some areas in these fairways that were nice, but my ball didn't find those nice areas. Hole #7 is a par 3 and plays 300 yards from the tips.....AWESOME. I hit it 20 yards from the green, chipped up and made par, yippee!

The greens were firm and fast this morning; they were great. The tee boxes at this course and at the Ike are on some holes somewhat unlevel, but they were in pretty good condition.

I love how at this course you have to maneuver your ball off the tee. The greens are really undulating too. This course is definitely in better shape than its rating suggests.

Played this last weekend and for a fee over $100, not worth it. Fairways were muddy and wet and it didnt even rain. Greens are true and bump free but the lack of yardage markers will get you. DO NOT come to this course without a range finder or else you will pay. Overall a good and challenging course. Need definite course management given the blind tee shots etc. There is definitely the option for you to make a decision on risk vs. reward. If you go for risk, bring lots of balls.

i'm not crazy about mountain style courses, but this one isn't bad. the course is beautifully maintained, and the greens run well. i absolutely hate blind tee shots, and there are a few here. the course is tight, so don't expect to slam it without paying the price. overall, it's a nicely set-up course that is nicely maintained. i played here after getting a voucher for $30. if i liked mountain style courses, i would have gladly paid their normal green fees.

Ike is in it's prime right now ... if your up to it.
