Played the Babe Sat AM in just under 5 hours. Course in great shape right now, tee to green. They put quite a bit of water in the fairways of the front nine, so beware of 'soft, mushy' areas. Greens are super soft but rolling at nice pace. They are lowering the green fees at IH ... about time ... I just received this email:

Played the Babe three times last week...she is in great shape! Shorter course than the Ike, but just as challenging. Hit 'em straight or go home...with a pitiful score :-)

Played with the Mens Club, a 5 hr. round ... a bit longer than I like but it was a shot gun format. Fairways recently verticut but I never had a bad lie. Greens very soft for IH and holding everything, still maintaining a consistent speed and rolling true. Overall, course is in great shape. Great food after the round at the 'Station'. Always a good time on the Hill :)

I just played Babe course yesterday on Mega Monday and it was very very challenging. I played the Ike course on Mega Monday early July and the course conditions were not as great as I expected after reading reviews here and there. The experience and layout were both great but I wanted to give the condition of the fairway/greens at Industry Hills another chance. IH totally redeemed itself. The Babe Course was in great condition, minus the construction on 3-4 of the holes on the back 9. Fairways were good, greens were perfect, and luckily I didn't get a chance to hit out of the bunker yesterday. The course itself was probably one of the most challenging I have played to date, especially since I wasn't hitting anything straight on the front 9. Still a great experience and I definately want to take another shot at Babe in the future.

I played the Babe today for the first time. People in the clubhouse were nice, and the cartgirl was also nice and I ran into her 2 or 3 times. The course is absolutely challenging because of the narrow fairway and the course layout. Tee shots have to be pinpoint accurate in order to make easy second shots. If you miss the fairway, you are going to have hard time to make the second shot on the green. Rough is very tough and there are a lot of trees. Greens are also difficult. This is not a long course, but the course layout makes the game fun and hard. Each shot needs to be accurate, and you must have a good game plan. I couldn’t make the good game plan because I didn’t know where to shot to make the next shot easy. I will probably play better next time because now I know the course layout. The course is overally in an ok condition. The tee boxes are leveled and the fairways are ok, but the greens need to be improved more. There still punched holes from the last aerationin the some greens, and the greens are bumpy. The sands need the major improvement. The sands are thin (need more sand in the bunckers). I had a fun game and I think I will play near future to lower my score.

Got back out on the Babe this morning, early to beat the heat ... played in just under 4 hours. Fairways are coming back and are in good condition after aeration a few weeks ago ... need one more week to completely fill in. A few fairways are still cartpath only. The greens were cut this morning and are simply supurb ... running true and very quick so ball position is crutial to be able to score well. They're getting ready for next weekends city championship so the rough is growing out a bit, you have to keep an eye on anything leaving the fairway.

I played the Babe June 16 and had a good time. The course is relatively narrow and you have plenty of options off the tee (Something I enjoy). Overall the course was in good condition. I felt that the greens were pretty slow even after the sun dried them out. I would love to come back and play but I'm not sure if the general public fees justify the price (Taking into consideration the entire experience - course and practice facilities).

I was disappointed with the practice greens. Very small, bumpy and not consistent with the course.

Fairways punched last week so there's quite a bit of debris from tee to green ... conditions less than ideal. We played lift, clean, & place. Hopefully, they'll cut and clean up before Thursdays GK ... Continue »

Fairways punched last week so there's quite a bit of debris from tee to green ... conditions less than ideal. We played lift, clean, & place. Hopefully, they'll cut and clean up before Thursdays GK event but give them a few weeks to come back to normal. Several holes are cartpath only. Greens are holding well, a bit slow for IH standards but in excellent shape. They will get much faster if/when we get some hot weather, then watch out. Course will be perfect for the city championship at the end of July. We played in 4:20 on a Sunday morning.

Played mon 6/7, 10:40 am; 5:20 round!, probably cuz it was cart path only, and we didn't feel like it was slow. course in great shape. greens smooth and moderately fast. Overall, a great day.
