I had a late cancellation in my schedule yesterday....but not so late that I couldn't get out to play a little golf. Found a $65.00 single time on Click4TeeTimes and booked it. When I arrived, they were filming an episode of "Entourage" at the course....which was pretty cool. My time was 11:50 - but the course was wide-open and another twosome showed up when I did....so - we got out at 11:30 and never caught the group in front of us until the back-nine! Even then, they stayed out in front of us pretty well...and we really only had to wait on #16 thru #18. We still finished in 3.5 hours. A great day of golf.

Green still showed the slightest bit of recovery from the small-hole punching done last month. I understand that the "Ike" is being punched now.

THAT is the only negative I can think of!!

What a great golf course! What *super* conditions! It was truly "as good as it gets" - fairways were lush and the ball sat up well....it's a pretty tough golf course from the blue tees (I remember it being tougher - but I have not played The Babe in 20+ years!! I know that they've change a lot and poured a ton of $$$ into the place....it shows!!)

The opening tee-shot on hole #1 from the blues is a real knee-knocker....there's probably 175 yards of canyon-carry before the fairway....it's actually a lot wider of a landing-area than it looks. This course rewards long, straight tee shots (big shocker there!) "Faders", be ready to be punished!

An excellent golf experience all around. I will be back....soon!

Put the "Babe' in your rotation....you won't be sorry!

What a beautiful course and in excellent shape. Great layout and very very green. Very minor flaws, but these appear to be caused by players, such as ball marks on the greens and divots at the tee boxes. Played at 12:50 pm with an online discount and finished at 4:50 pm, still enough light to hit 2 more holes close by. Each cart comes with 2 water bottles in mini coolers. Golf pencils have erasers, cart girl waves, etc. They have all the little details that make this place amazing. This course is in great condition, definately a place to go play, just remember to hit straight, some fairways are narrow with tall trees.

Actually played the Ike today but I have to let everyone know that both courses are in fine condition right now and worth the drive, extra bucks, whathaveyou. Overseeding has made a big difference and the greens are clean as a whistle. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also, it's a great place to hang out after a round for grog and grub.

Perfect day for golf. 75 degrees with aslight breeze. Tee Boxes were okay, fairways were great. Cart path only but the exercise was good. A couple of hole locations were wicked and a coeesponding amount were easy. Finished in 4:45 hrs.

Overall I found the course to be in very good condition. At first, I was hesitant in keeping my tee time because of reviews posted on here. However, I am glad I kept it and played. This is a nice challenging course for the average golfer. Beware for the hacker this is not the course for you.

I found the service to be excellent. The cart girl came around at least 4 times throughout the round. The pro shop staff were courteous.

I can't say it's in the best of conditions right now and I don't know the prognosis, but be aware before you book a time. Hopefully, the greenskeeper has it under control and some warm weather can solve the problem.
