Terrible Sunday afternoon experience. Extremely slow including several fivesomes. The only marshal we saw appeared at he 7th hole (3 hours after we teed off at 2:40) to tell us the carts had to be in by 7:30. At 7:25 we still had three holes to play. Extremely ball marked greens many of which appeared a full day or two old. Made the already bumpy greens worse.

Played Knollwood last week. It was extremely windy when I played so there were a lot of leaves and debris on the course. The course has a lot of elevation changes and was challenging for me and will probably be for all mid to high handicappers. There are 4 par 5s and many challenging par 4s. It is definitely worth the experience if you haven't played Knollwood... and you can't beat the price. Don't play there on a hot day though.

What makes this a tough course are the greens. Only about 4 are flat and the rest undulating.

Got out and played the back 9 again on 3/11. WOW, what a difference a weeks makes. The course dried out and is in great shape. I have never seen Knollwood like this. The fairways and greens were in great shape, considering the $15 fee to play 9 holes. I did not notice the previously mentioned problems with the T-boxes. This is a great way to start the morning off, played 9 in ~1:45.

Worth the fee. Pace a little slow due to walking fivesomes.

Course was in pretty good shape except for the tee areas which were very uneven with many bare spots. Mostly staight ahead holes except for a few doglegs on the back nine. Great deal through 24/7 golf - $28.50 with cart including a $6.00 range card. Very slow round, almost 6 hours on a Tuesday afternoon. Suggest playing before the summer - not a course worth trolling around if the temperature is over 100.

Got out to play the back 9 on Fri 2/25. Playing conditions were better than what I expected...although you could still find standing water in some traps and the low lying areas were a bit moist. The greens were in nice shape and rolled pretty well. Fairways typical for Knollwood, but no bare spots. Got around the track, walking with our 3-some, in 1Hr-45min. Blinding speed for this track.
