Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Greens were in perfect condition, fairways were a little brown in certain spots but playable. Took us about 5 hours to complete our round on saturday, which is pretty normal. Would definitely comeback next week to take advantage of the greens.
Played on 5/30/05 and the greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play was decent, only 4.5 hours instead of the usual 5+ hours you get on municipal courses. Besides trying to avoid geese doo doo in numerous places, it was an enjoyable round for my foursome.
my first time at Balboa, and i enjoyed it very much. compared to hansen dam, balboa is a much better course. if you have a chance give it a try, perfect for mid to high handicappers.
A great course for the $. If it's good enough for O.J. it's good enough for me.
