Played today, 11/23. 20 minute delay due to "frost". 3-4 group backup on the first tee and on several par 3's. The backup was gone by hole #3. A 5 hour round for a Sunday walking. A pretty course, especially in the fall as the fairways are tree lined and very pretty. The $33.00 green fee (walking) is fair for what type of course you get, not a bargain, but not a great deal either. The driving range here is always in great shape and the balls and mats are always in excellent condition.

Played this morning at 6am. Tee boxes generally good although several are uneven. Fairways good and greens excellent. Greens were a little faster than usual even though they were wet.

Service at this course is always excellent. Love the staff in the pro shop, they always get me out quickly if I show up early.

Played on 11/09 during a light rain. Course was almost empty. In good condition. Greens were slow, but in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes were also excellent.

Played only 9-holes (TWILIGHT). I guess there was a tournament there the day before so all the blue tees were way up front. There were a few temporary tees as well.

PLayed in the morning. This was my first time playing. Dissappointed with the tee boxes and greens. Too many divots!

Played 7/19/03. One word can describe the golfing experience at Westlake's Front Nine "SLOW". Takes 3 hours to play 9, but the back nine seems to speed up. This is entirely due to the fact that they let people out on the back 9 in the morning. the course is in decent condition, greens and fairways are waterlogged, but playable, most par 4s are drivable, play with a 3-iron to make the course more interesting. Definately have a problem with course etiquette, ball marks everywhere, most traps aren't raked and they need to provide divot mix. I usually play on Fridays and can sometimes get in 18 for 10 bucks after 5. All in all a decent experience, but without twilight rates worth paying the extra 10 bucks to play on a nicer course
