Great layout with great conditions. Play was a bit slow. Can't wait to go back. Can't beat a .75 cent beer.

Played on 8/17 and boy I love this layout. The greens here roll true which is all one can ask for. The course plays fair but can be slow at times since players quite often don't play from the correct set of tees as they let their egos get the better of them. Also people sometimes spend a lot of time looking for their ball in the brush or worse yet just looking for any lost balls. The greens were a bit marked up this day but were repairing themselves nicely and did not affect the roll. The fairways were excellent and the rough was thick but fair. The only downside I have found is the noise from the freeway but overall the course is a pleasure to play and some of the views with all the animal life around are wonderful.

This course is great! Very fair, everything plays how it looks. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were perfect! Pace of play was great. Very nice Staff!

Enjoyed this course immensely. The layout, lush fairways, forced carries, desert look, and the undulating but fair greens, all make it a course to play many times.

Played on 7/29 (Fri). Course in excellent condition. Greens rolled smooth and true albeit a little slower than expected. Don't get me wrong, the greens are great, just not as fast as you might expect. After all the hype about this course, I was slightly disappointed. It's a great course but, being from Simi, I don't think it was worth the drive. Too hot and smoggy and the views don't come close to comparing to the courses we're blessed to have out here (for, in some cases, less money). Within 10 minutes of my house, I can get to Moorpark, Lost Canyons, Tierra Rejada, and Rustic Canyon. Personally, I like all of these courses better. And they're closer and, in some cases, less money. So I guess I can stick closer to home.
