Haven't played here since last year and really expected the clubhouse to be completed but it isn't. Considering the price, I expect the course to be 100%, but the sand traps need new sand and fluffed. I also think it is a little outragous to pay $1.50 for a banana.

While the new rates keep me from playing this course as often as I used to, I still frequent this course for its practice facility. While many give praise to the course itself (which I agree with), the same could be said about its driving range and practice green. The grass on the driving range is very consistent and level, and you can find grass to hit off of no matter what time of the day you go there. The length of the driving range allows you to swing away without inhibition. The new putting green is in awesome shape. It was well worth the wait to let it mature before opening. It rolls just like the course greens roll, and has the undulations that you find out on the course. However, the fringe and the rough around the green is not the same grass as is out on the course. They are still planning to open the old practice green (adjacent to the range), which will help make wear and tear less severe on each green. I know what many people will say about the practice facility at Angeles National..."It's too far from the parking lot." You can get a ride to and from the range, and if there are enough carts they may let you take one down there. Or you could walk it. Overall, great place to work on your game.

My first time out to this course. The greens were firm and fast, but they rolled extremely well. Fairways were in great shape and the rough is just long enough to penalize if you venture into it. They need to water there quite a bit, so some of the sand traps were wet and I unfortunately landed in a few. Wet sand makes for interesting shots. We played (2-some) in 3 hours 40 minutes. Awesome! I really like the layout and I look forward to coming back again.

Course in beautiful condition. However, GPS System and scorecard did not match, nor did they always provide accurate yardage on some holes. Yardage markers desperately needed.

played sunday 6-12 in the afternoon. gps is out-of-wack ever since the new 18th hole came back in play. the course is in excellent shape but watch out when the wind kicks in. too bad the rates went back up. not a course to write home about but given it's location and condition you really can't complain.

Had the chance to play this track again on 6-6. I had a much better experience this visit then my first. Course was in much better shape and the staff treated us kindly this time around. Thank you to Vic Castro and the staff at Angeles National for inviting my group back after our intial poor experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and I will definitely be back.
