Being a new golfer, been playing about a year, the Navy golf course is really nice. If you like a challenging yet rewarding experience, I suggest this course. I've only broke 100 2 times so far, my best score on this course is a 108. Great starter course for someone who can play in the 120's or less.

Totally agree with jigers from Cypress...awfull golf course...barespot everywhere...just nice layout and design...but to come back to play this course, I have to think 100 times...for it doesn't worth... Continue »

well i played sat as a single...got there at 1200 got on at 1245 so i kind of new that i wouldnt be able to play all 18... well even though navy is my home course i am very disappointed in it i mean there are a lot of good qualities and a lot of bad qualities. the good qualities is the beautiful new clubhouse(immaculate) the greens are pure and rolling the best ive ever seen them and i always love the layout of the course..the bad qualities are the fairways and rough have TONS of barespots which makes the course not that fun and no mattter what angle you go into the bunker your always going to be plugged(i would knw) well if you have never played the course you should check it out because the only good thing is the nice layout....

Course is in fabulous condition (played 11/26/06). Fantastic new club house and pro shop. Everything was great.

The fairways are bit tougher than other golf courses, like playing on top of the cement but you got what you pay for. It's nice course because walk can be doable.

The course is in very good condition, especially the greens. The greens show the effort of both the grounds crew and the clientel as they are fast and smooth with very few ball marks. Quite a change from the other local courses. Had an enjoyable round and finished in 4 hrs. on a Wednesday afternoon.

Played today (Wednesday) after a doctor's appointment and actually got 18 in for the twilight rate.

The course is in the best shape I've seen since I've been playing there.

Played today (Wednesday) after a doctor's appointment and actually got 18 in for the twilight rate.

The course is in the best shape I've seen since I've been playing there.
The greens, especially, are impressive. They are large and full of twists and turns and were moderately quick, even in the late afternoon.

Pace of play was good (4 1/2 hours), though it seems to play much slower on the weekends.

A challenging course with the occasional sidelight of military plane takeoffs and landings. Moderately challenging greens and adequate amount of hazards to enhance the experience.

Played the Destroyer this weekend. The greens are in great shape. They played fst once it dried up a little. Some fairways are just a touch brown, but otherwise in great shape. Tee boxes are in good shape as well. They reallyt kept things moving but still took 6 hours to play. Had a great day,
