For $32 and an immediate game for a walk on on a Friday morning, there's no need to complain about the subpar conditions. Fairways were quite thin. Greens were thin and hard. Only held shots cuz it's pretty wet from rain. Tee boxes aren't really tee boxes, but rather hacked areas from which to hit your first shot. Very unlevel and hacked up. BUT, for $32, it's fine. Just don't expect much.

Played New Year's Eve. Very crowded, but the staff was great. Greens were perfect. Very fast. Overall, the course is improving--they've undertaken a refurbishing project on the course, working backwards from 18. Sand in the bunkers was thin, except on 17 and 18. Totally worth the price.

Unless you hit your driver dead straight try a three iron and stay out of the iceplant. If you can stay in the fairway on your tee shot a low score is waiting for you.

Nice day at “Three Sleeves”. Weather was perfect, staff was friendly and the course is perking up with help from the greens keepers. The greens were running about 11 and in real good shape. The fairways, for the most part, are a little ragged in some areas. Several sand traps were being redone and had no sand. They’re in the process of putting more money into this course. The carts need a little fixing here and there but for the price, it was a nice experience.

Where else can a twosome walk on at 9am on a friday and play for $32 with cart! Some would say it's for a reason (bad conditions) but I say I'd rather play a course that's a little rough on the edges... Continue »

Where else can a twosome walk on at 9am on a friday and play for $32 with cart! Some would say it's for a reason (bad conditions) but I say I'd rather play a course that's a little rough on the edges then deal with high green fees and lack of tee times. The greens, which are usually a little softer at the cliffs, were firm and fast. very fast. they're doing some upgrades (new trees planted along each side of #12 fairway). Fairways all around could be in better shape. Tee boxes are very, very ragged. For $32 w/cart on a friday, there's nothing wrong with this course.

Been playing S h@re cliffs golf course for years. Always friendly service and a fun round to boot. Good course for all levels. Not the best playing conditions around but a good value for OC golf. Played today and the course has improved over the last couple months. The fairways still need more attention though. Greens rolling well. Keep it straight and make some putts and you’ll score well. No need to overpower it. Play the holes as designed.

I just started playing golf 2 weeks ago and I love this course. It has some bare spots but for the most part its fun. I usually walk this course in the morning and play the back 9. Its great!!!!

Hey, it's THE CLIFFS! We paid $27...with cart. This course is a funky public track. Greens were immaculate. Rest of the course is kinda like a mother in law...ragged, rough, but something you deal with. It is what it is....cheap, funky, and if you go in knowing that and expecting nothing more, it's a great respite from the hassles of life!
