Amazing course. I love desert courses. Everything is so scenic here. The course is very tight in places but is never too punishing unless you are WAY offline. One thing is for sure though, the greens are firm and you do NOT want to be too far from the pin. There were a few chips I hit a bit firm and sent to the back of the green... and the pin was front/ middle... I remember thinking "there are so many breaks and the green is so fast, I don't think I can get down in 3"...I love this course.

Played afternoon of 4/29. Doesn't get much better than this unless you go private. Top Notch customer service. Nice carts. Fabulous clubhouse. Immaculate playing conditions. Even with 95+ degree heat at 3 PM the grass was perfect from tee to green on every hole. Great pace of play ~ 4 hours. Got out as a twosome. Just keep it out of the drainage channel on the right of a few holes and all is well.

I played the Player's course on 4/20 Friday and Celebrity on next day. Player's course is little more straight forward compared to Celebrity. When you drive up, you can definitely tell that they spent some big time money here. Everything is high end including all the other facility. Staff was friendly (or paid well to act friendly...lol). Driving range wasn't grandeur but more than adequate for group of 25 players or less. They have a buzzer to let you know when its time to head up to the tees which was nice. Course isn't tricked up so pretty much what you see is what you got. Except for couple holes, it is a friendly resort course that keeps you from losing too many golf balls and keep you moving along. It was good course to warm up from. Conditions here are immaculate. With the impending heat coming in the afternoon, they did a good job of watering the course in the morning so when we played in the afternoon, grass was still lush and greens were still receptive. I personally wouldn't pay the full $180 to play here but $75 twilight rate was definitely worth it. Price range of $100 to $125 would be what I would consider fair for this course during peak time. All in all, I enjoyed this course and glad I got to play it.

I always enjoy playing at the Indian Wells facility. Great holes great conditions the gps units that are in the cart work fine but sometimes not always easy to read from the sun. This course is always worth the fee, customers service there is always A+. Clubhouse is great too.

Played 7/16. The Celebrity course was closed so we played the Players course twice. The service was fantastic. The layout is solid, challenging, and fair. And the conditions were fine (but not excellent). But the course wasn't especially memorable. I read and heard a lot of fantastic things about the Players Course. And I was told that it is one of the top 10 courses in California. It didn't quite measure up to that kind of hype. If you are in the Palm Springs area, its definitely a course to consider. But I drove a little over 2 hours to get there. And there are dozens of courses within a 2.5 hour drive that I would rate higher than the Players Course.

Good traditional course compared to the celebrity which is more of a resort course. The staff is super frindly here. Thought the course would be bad like the rest of the courses in the desert right now but to my suprise the course was in good shape and for $40 couldnt beat the rate played in 3 hours. Highlty suggest playing here the remodel was amazing

I played on May 30th and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. This course is lush and unlike your typical desert golf course. The layout was interesting and the conditions were immaculate for the most part. The service was top notch. Automated water and ice machines on the course? Count it! I really thought the little restaurant style buzzers to alert you of your tee time was a nice touch. The clubhouse is awesome.....I really can't say a bad thing about the course....err, I suppose the winds are a pain. Get out there and play this course.

Played Players course 5/22 after playing Celebrity the day prior. I like the Players course better but both courses have the same putting surface issue making putts more difficult than I want or need. The resort and the courses are first rate. Customer service is priority one at Indian Wells and guests are accorded the same treatment as members. I would rate it a 9.5 with the only drawback being the greens.

Did the Big Break deal with the Esmeralda Resort, which is on the property of Indian Wells GR. The Players course was great! It is in great condition. The greens are true, and the bunkers are soft. Rough isn't very thick though. Fairways are immaculent. I would play here again for sure!
