Played here in a tournament on 5/29. This is a "must play" course. I've played here several times over the last few years, and conditions have always been great. Straight hitters can score well here. If not, bring plenty of extra balls.

This course has a great look and feel to it. A number of scenic holes located the base of the mountain. Desert rocks, lush green fairways, sand waste areas, waterfalls, bridges and plenty of the blue stuff make for a golfing challenge that is pleasing to the eye and fun to play. Not to mention the course is immaculate from tee to green.

Great conditions here at a course with a nice layout. Many areas with water and OB lost so bring a couple extra balls. Bunkers are long and if you are in the back of the bunker, hit it hard. Cart have GPS to all hazards and carts have a ball/club washer and cooler with water bottles in them. The big rock mountain is always in sight and a nice touch. There will be another 18 holes, 2nd clubhouse and hotel resort in the future. Greens are fast but fair. Rough is cut well and not too difficult to hit out of. There are some pebble waste areas so if you have a club you don't mind potentially scratching, bring that. Had a great time here, another nice Palmer course.

Got out for a late TW round today 5-11-10. This course is as stunning-beautiful and demanding as all the previous reviews have stated. I can see why it’s part of the Bob Hope Classic current rotation. It was also in exceptional shape. PERFECT fairways, tee boxes, rough. The Sand Traps all contained high quality sand and well maintained. Greens showing signs of transitioning to bermunda with a very light verticut but STILL rolled very smooth and moderately fast. The Service was terrific at all levels (bag drop, cart service, proshop, marshal, cart-girl). This is an A1 golf experience I highly recommend! One of the best courses I’ve ever played.

What a cool course. I played it on 3/30. One of the favorites I played while in Palm Springs. They play one of the rounds of the Bob Hope here and I'm looking forward to watching it next year and see ... Continue »

What a cool course. I played it on 3/30. One of the favorites I played while in Palm Springs. They play one of the rounds of the Bob Hope here and I'm looking forward to watching it next year and see the tour guys play the Par 5's. Which I think are the strength of the course. They require precision that I didn't have on this day, but I think were great holes. Good mix of holes and challenge. The course is right on at the base of a large mountain which adds some style to the course. The conditions were immaculate and the design was very fun. I highly recommend this course to anyone heading out to the area of La Quinta. I will play this course as many times as possible in golfing career.

Shadowridge, PGA West any of the 3 public courses, Eagle Falls...

Played 12/25....Christmas Day... and let me say, WOW. This is an amazing course. Immaculate condition, great service, just beautiful all the way around. VERY challenging though, you have to be good at course management, not the wisest thing to always pull out your driver here...check your ego at the pro shop. Very beautiful views and great pace of play. I will definitely be returning, this is what a $100+ course should be like! Well done.
