They have started fixing some of the sand traps. their were alot of terrible spots in the rough that didnt seem to be getting any attention. Glad to see that they have gotten their prices in line with other local courses 40 - 45 is a good price for this course in its current condition.

Everything at Eagle Glen is very good. The pro-shop staff is first-rate, the starter is helpful, friendly and organized. The range is real grass and well-marked. The course in in terrific shape for Mid-February, the tee-boxes, most of the fairways and rough are lush. There's still a little "heavy rain residue" on a hole or two (expecially the 12th, "Lang Whang" - right before the last bunkers on the right...looks like a deposit of river-sand settled there...) - and a few spots with white spray-paint marking GUR. Other than that...it's just great.

The greens seemed a little inconsistant, but rolled fairly true and perhaps not as fast as they have been in the past...but still very nice. I think the rains of the recent past helped the greens overall more than they hurt them...but the summertime "tight mowing" and rolling will be here soon enough. The greens were still a LOT better than many around So. Cal. right now.

The whole clubhouse and area has a country club feel about it again. Eagle Glen has had it's ups and downs since the days that Troon Golf owned it...but - you can't go wrong by playing there now.

Oh...another great note about the staff. On the phone two weeks ago, somebody at E.G. told our man that made our reservations a certain price for "seniors". It was lower than it should have been, evidently.

But when we mentioned being quoted that price when we checked in...the staff honored it. No questions. No hassles.

WHAT?? A golf-shop staff that cares about customer service?? Wow.

Eagle Glen is definitely back in my regular rotation of "Oak Quarry, Goose Creek and Empire Lakes".

Played this course on 26 Jan for the first time and loved it. Excellent customer service great course and I will definitely be back soon.

Love this course, unfortunatly it was very wet due to all the rain. Grens were very good, best i've seen there. Sand traps were terriable mostly due to the rain. Hit middle of the fairway on 18 and ball plugged so deep i couldn't find it. Price was great and as soon as it dries out it will be back in great shape. Few bare spots but nothing any other course has right now.

Greens: Very good, true and medium fast.
Fairways: This, but playable.

Fairways: This, but playable.
Rough: Dormant for the most part, but probably easier to hit out of than the fairway right now. There are lots of completely bare spots that your ball will roll right out of and onto the fairway.
Tee boxes: Good.
Bunkers: Very nice.
Staff: Excellent.
Time of round: 4:45
Overall: With the rack rate at only $49/weekday, this course with all of its different holes and views, is definitely worth the money now. Once springtime is here and the course fills in with green, it will be one of our fav's.

Played Saturday 1/12/08. The course was very busy because we were told that they had 3 large groups on the course. The GM, was on the 1st tee telling us what to expect. I thought that was a great touch. The round was slow today, but he told us would be. The course was in great shape and was an enjoyable day. I think the course is paying attention to the people because we saw them working hard on a bunker project. I saw that on someone else's review. The GM talked about this, but I forgot what he said.
This place is a great deal and well worth the price at any rate.
We will keep coming back.

Played this course for the first time several weeks ago and was very fortunate to be teamed up with a local member (Josh). Most of the course is straightforward with several holes requiring good placement off the tee. The greens were a bit bumpy at times, but not bad for "winter" golf! The staff was excellent and I was able to walk-on as a single 20 minutes after arrival. Pace of play was pretty good for a Sunday outing. If you haven't played this course, add it to your list, you won't be disappointed!

Very wet, ball would not roll after hits. Sand traps need fixing some had standing water. But with new rates, I still enjoy this course.
