It was cold and windy! However, the air was clear, the view was great and the course played pretty good. Played late so there were some divots but the greens still played good and tough. Fairways were decent with a little damage from the rains. Cart path only on some (7?) holes. No big irritations to report. If your game is off bring a lot of balls. The course is short but unforgiving.

Much improved from last visit few months ago. last time I played bunch of the tee boxes and cart paths were damaged from the previous yrs rains. Most of these are repaired. A lot of the brush and few trees on some of the holes have been cut back. Course looks and plays better. Only bad thing are the sand traps....not much sand mostly hard pack dirt with some sand. All they need to do is add some nice fluffy sand. Love this course layout and challenges. Wish it was closer to home!

Greens are firm, fast and true. Fairways are thin at the moment but very playable. Some traps are hard but also playable. Tee boxes are improving. A lot of work has been done on several damaged by rain in the past. This course continues to be one of my favorite places to play. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

As always the course was in very good condition. Due to cold weather it may look a little brown, but it does not affect the way it plays. Greens roll true and are quick and tricky. Insider's not is that all greens break or roll fast toward the 15 Fwy. Important to remember if you want to score well. The only real negative of the course is lack of medium length tee boxes. You play a very look 6930 yards from the tips or a very short 6270 from next set up from black. The length is all most notable on the back nine. 650yd par 5; 441yd par 4 (uphill all the way); 477yd par 4 (always into the wind); 579yd par 5 with difficult drive because of hazard along right side. Tell the pro shop they need to change these holes for the mere mortals that are trying to play this nice track. A must play, though expensive if you don't have some sort of discount coupon or Red Dot Book.

Played for $50 on a Friday afternoon which I thought was OK for such a pretty course. The sand is a little hard, used a pitching wedge vs. sand wedge. I would go back, when their is grass in the fairways. Nice club house as well. A Troon facility.

The more I play this course, the more I enjoy and appreciate it, which makes it sad to say that the course is in the worst condition I've seen it in! I understand that it's winter, but some the neglect goes way beyond the weather conditions. There seems to be just a general absence of "TLC". With all the new courses in the area (Trilogy, Hidden Valley, Dos Lagos, Goose Creek, etc) they better get their act togather.

we played eagle glen today and the sandtraps were way hard. the course is in good shape and the green's were awesome.this is a picturesque and quite golf course for the most part. all in all a great day. i scored the highest not the best that i have in two years and still had a great day . Golf is not ETERNAL.

I played this course on 1/7. Green fee was $55 with GolfQ.com coupon. It has nice layout. However, fairways were sub par and sand traps were hard. I would not pay $105, but for $55, I will play again... Continue »
