First time here, played twilight at 1:15, $40 good deal. Course is a spectacular set up, Elevation changes, ravines, lots of wildlife-ran over a rattler!! Big greens with lots of slope, they don't look pretty but putt very nice. Unfortunatly thats the whole scope of this course, don't get me wrong the views are amazing, but lots of bare spots in rough, fairways, make it not look pretty, but all play nice. Bunkers are a disaster tho, some hard some soft some full of weeds. And what's up with the tee boxes, very uneven, kinda Crusty Verde ish. Overall for twilight I'll be back but there is no way I would drop the hundy for a weekend round!!! Highligh of the day, group of you know who wouldn't let me play thru on #5, after patiently waiting over 10 min, i scorched a 5 wood from 245 onto the green and into leg of player right next to hole, Ahh the gratification.

Pace of Play on a Tuesday morning was horrible!!!! Started at 9:15 and had to miss three holes to make another appointment at 3:30PM.... No marshalls working - just driving around. By contrast - played SCGA week prior started at 10 AM was done at 2PM.

Eagle Glen is slowly turning things around. Played here 5/29. I love the golf experience here, the mix of holes, the views, the wildlife you see, the whole thing. I've seen snakes, ground squirrels, eagles, hawks, deer, bees, bobcats, coyotes, rabbits, fish, herons, lizards, frogs and even a turtle. . If I were a biologist, I'd call this place my home course.. Playing the gold tees can be a little short, but playing the black tee, this golf course is a completly different course with a mean streak, especially in the afternoon wind. Tee boxes are coming around, glad to see the back tee on 18 back in play. The fairways are firm so your drives gets some roll. The greens are cut fairly tight, but the poa is driving me crazy. I know it's hard to keep a golf course in pristine condition, so I'm not gonna complain, but once you get poa in your greens, it's pretty much over. At least I can tell they're trying. Eagle Glen holds a soft spot in my heart. It's not the most conditioned course around, and its gotten a little rough around the edges over the years vs. when Troon Golf REALLY cared about this course. But I can tell they're trying, and that's all one can ask for. One tip, if you play in the morning, you gotta try a breakfast burrito from the cart girl. They're the BEST!

I asked the marshal a yardage question and he lent me his yardage guide for the rest of the round. Above the call of duty. The only Negative with this course is every time I've been there(3 times), the driving range doesn't open until after my tee time.

Played 5/17/06....First of all....I must congratulate the greenskeeper there!! The course is in its best shape in years!! Finally, they have taken the proper steps in caring for this course....I was very pleased with the maintenance from tee to green.....(over the last 18 months this nice course was like dog sh*t conditions) Anyways, with the red-dot book- this course was a great value -40 bucks!! If you have never played here it can be compared to the Trilogy @ Glen Ivey course....not quite as nice of a layout but hardly any houses......conditions are as nice but I must say that Eagle Glen's greens are better now!!! Trilogy has a problem with keeping there greens nice which is a shame....Anyways, Eagle Glen has finally re-gained it's potential as a great "Troon" golfing experience. (It's about time)

WONDERFUL GOLF COURSE…Eagle Glen is by far one of the BEST Golf Courses in So. Cal. Breath taking views, great customer service and the golf course is in great condition. The fairways were fast and the ball sits up great. The greens were smooth and a bit fast. “Kudos to the Superintendent” because I saw what the rains did the to place last year and now it’s better then ever!! Great job!! I have golfed every golf course in the Inland Empire and Eagle Glen is by far the Best Golf Course!!!
