This course is worth the drive!!! The conditions are excellent, the price is reasonable, fast pace, good service, and nice panoramic views. I normally prefer conditions over course layout, but this course fulfills both aspects. If you don't mind making the drive to Hemet, this course is worth every penny. Although there was about 10-20mph wind today, I enjoyed the conditions and layout of the course, aswell as the friendly service.

If you are a low handicapper looking for a confidence boost on a nice course this one is for you. You just have to be reasonably straight off the tee and if you miss a green it usually is an easy up and down. The greens are very nice, not very undulating, and not fast or slow. You can really bomb drives out here. The fairways are in good shape but you get lots of roll. Out of all the courses built in the last 10 years in Southern California this is one of the easier ones. However, the way I played I made it hard.

Course really took a beating from the weather earlier this month. You can still see the mud all over the course from where the water pooled. Definitely rough around the edges. Rough appeared that it had no been cut for a while. Tee boxes were a little unkept in places. Greens still rolled well. Staff is very friendly. I would suggest waiting about 1-2 months before playing here if you want this course at it's best.

PLAYED LAST WEEK. THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE STAFF WAS GREAT AS ALWAYS. EASY TO GET OUT. WALKED ON AS A TWOSOME! THE SPEED OF PLAY WAS WORTH THE 49 BUCKS!

Played last Tuesday morning. We had the first tee time at 6:45. It was 27 degrees F, so obviously there was a frost delay. They say that was their first frost delay of the season, but I find that difficult to believe considering how cold it's been this Fall. Anyway, even though we didn't tee off until 10, they gave us the early bird discount as if we teed off at 6:45 ($30 only); that's a pretty good deal. So even though we had to wait 3 and a half hours, it was worth it to pay so little. Since we had the first tee time scheduled, they let our group tee off first instead of fitting us in after the later tee times had teed off; they did not have to do that. They are the only course I've ever played that has that kind of policy for frost delays. I was very impressed with the service because of this. The course was in good shape, better than the 6 point rating this website gives it. A few of the tee boxes were hairy, and the grounds crew was changing the pins at every single hole that we arrived at. That was extremely annoying! There also was no starter, so the group behind us teed off as soon as we were out of range, instead of waiting the perfunctory 8 minutes. Our group, and the group behind us were playing at the exact same speed, so naturally, they were on our butts pretty much the whole day except for a few holes. The greens rolled true, the rough was juicy. All in all, worth $30. Not a long course, so there are a bunch of Driver/wedge holes out there. THe two longest par fours from the tips, I hit driver/9-iron. That was the longes iron I had all day (except the par 5's & 3's). Give this course a try, it's not too difficult, so your score will be lower than normal, especially if your used to playing courses over 7,000 yards. It's the feel-good course of Southern California, and it's cheap.

Played Landmark at Hemet on Satyrday. Course was in OK shape. The greens were good but hard to read. The fairways were thin in many areas and wet in others. I would recommend you play the course. Not too difficult even from the Black tees.
