Greens are in the best shape I've seen them here: smooth and fast, not too many unrepaired pitch marks or spike marks. The rest of the course is pretty normal "budget" public: Teeboxes are fine, not incredibly flat, fairways are mostly lush with the occasional weird dead spot/dirt patch/GUR, rough is grown in on some holes but never too punitive. Bunkers are basically waste areas. Still a really fun layout with a good price, $47 for a weekend afternoon, somehow got around in exactly 4 hours on a Sunday 1:00pm tee time, paired with a nice older couple and surrounded by golf bro foursomes that seemed to leave a yellow ball on every other hole. Would love to see them do a 'walking' rate like Seven Hills does, alas.

Played at 11:50 on a Sunday for $43 via a GolfNow hot deal. I believe rack rate is $58+ on weekends. This course remains one of the best value options in the area. Conditions are not pristine but completely playable. Teeboxes have flat spots and some are worse than others, some bunkers have more sand than others, fairways have good coverage and you won't find a bad lie after a striped drive. You will have to hit off some funky dirt or weeds if you're errant off the tee.

I have come to appreciate the layout even more after learning that this course was designed by the same architects as Tukwet Canyon. The greens are in great shape, rolling very nicely, medium speed on the flat, and soft to a well-struck approach or wedge. I was pleasantly surprised to have 4 hour round while walking with 2 other singles in carts on a Sunday afternoon. Clubhouse is great as ever, the $5 hotdog was grilled perfectly.

Got a 9:50am on Sunday 3/23, cost was $58 with or without the cart (I went without). Played with another single behind foursomes, so the pace was a rough 5+ hours. I like the conditions at Hemet though they are nothing special. Only a few bad lies in fairways, greens trickier than they look with some pin positions, good variety of layout and views. Teeboxes could always find a flat spot but not incredibly clean/manicured. Great little pro shop and restaurant, actually feels like a "nice muni" in 2025, price is creeping upwards and I'd probably rather play during the week when it's less stacked.

Played in 4 hours starting at 12 today. Had not played here in 4 months, course fairways have improved some, I was surprised, we were able to play the ball down today on every fairway. Fairway bunkers are still hard pan for the most part, green side bunkers we were in allowed real sand shots. This is not a high end Muni by any stretch but for the price (carts have nice GPS and are fairly new) it is very playable. Back tees are far enough to give good players some challenge and foreword tees for us over 70 hackers are very fair. WE enjoyed the round much more than last time out here.

Hemet is one of those golf course you play because course conditions are not as important as getting out to play. Rough conditions all over, hit and miss fairway coverage, greens OK not to fast and hold line OK. Still a few interesting holes that need some good shot placements to score on. Carts have GPS and are in good shape. People are friendly and pace of play seems slower than what the time will show. We had fun even with the fight to find a good lie in many fairways. Again a place to play when you do not expect anything resembling a Country Club.

Nice to get back to Hemet. Because it's a long drive from home, I don't get out here very often, but always enjoy playing here. Staff as great and the price is reasonable, particularly compared to Orange County prices. Greens rolled very nicely (Or maybe it was because I made a bunch of putts?) fairways were decent for the most part, with a few areas needing attention. Bunkers were the worst part of the course, but overall, it was a positive experience. If I lived closer, I'd play here much more often. Recommend!

Great layout for a more value-oriented round of golf: $55 for a morning 8:50 tee time as a single walker (cart is included, but I preferred to walk).

Greens rolled true and were actually pretty speedy after the sun warmed them up. Teeboxes were kind of hit or miss, but you could always find a flat spot to stand on. Bunkers are pretty crappy, one that I hit out of was just flat hard mud. Fairways had some bare spots but landing areas generally had fine turf. Huge practice green, friendly and helpful staff, nice clean facility overall. POP right on the money at just over 4 hours, as a single walking I was sent off the back and caught up to and joined a twosome, then joined a threesome on the front.

The layout is fun and interesting: some doglegs, some water, some driveable par 4's, there's even a blind tee shot from the tips.

Give it a try, it's not overly fancy but is absolutely one of the better courses in this area and a good value for the money.

Early am 4.25 hour round this morning. The course was already behind the pace when we teed off ten minutes past our 6:10am time? The newer carts are nice with pretty nice gps on board and even windshields. The weather stayed much cooler than forecast which made the round nice. The tee boxes were all flat with good coverage on every hole with a mixture of grasses and weeds. The rough ranged from thin and weedy to thick and lush depending on the hole and location you found yourself in. Often times you would have to use the foot wedge to make for a fair shot. The traps were in sad, thin, damp and hard packed condition from start to end. The fairways were hit and miss ranging from nice fluffy bermuda lies to thin/dirt weed filled lies. Again the foot wedge came out to give yourself a fair and true lie!! The really large greens were all in pretty good condition with a few having bad spots/sections of diseased turf. The greens held shots well and rolled true. The greens from start to finish are all very large in comparison to most courses in the Inland Empire. There were quite a few ball marks in need of repair on most of the greens but less than I've seen at other courses. The layout of this place is really nice and the water features are well placed. If the owners can get the weeds in check and get turf to grow in the fairways on a few holes this would be a course that would draw more golfers. The rates are very reasonable for what is offered in the area and getting a time is usually not a problem.

Hemet is lookin good right now. Fairways are solid, bunkers are my favorite (a thin layer of soft sand over a firm subsurface and greens are very nice if yet a bit on the slow side. Rough is patchy and not great. Its not horrific potholes and BS clumping grass as some goat tracks offer---but not the best out there. Well worth the green fee ifn you are out east.
