Played on 10/22 and really don't understand the complaints of the previous reviews. New owners seem to be okay, had a very slow group in front of us and we called the golf shop and the marshall came right out, and the group in front of us did speed up play. Course was in very good shape, and with coupon green fee was $49.00, not bad for a weekend. Course is not difficult but fair and interesting enough to keep you from getting bored. We you care more about course conditioning than snack bar this is a good place for a weekend round of golf

Having played this course several times BEFORE NEW MANAGEMENT, this is one of my favorites. My wife and I drive 85+ miles and have enjoyed the course in the past. However, we played today and it was a 5 1/2 hour round. Orange County is not even this bad. The new owner doesn't care and has increased tee times by approximately 1-3 extra groups every 1-2 hours. I asked him about this, his answer was "Really ? Sorry about the slow play ". That was it. I told him we drive a ling way to play here, but we will now drive 10 more miles and play Diamond Valley. It's a shame because the course is in great shape and the greens were rolling true. These people just don't give a rats'arse about customer service. They also closed the snack bar at 3:00, because they had a Banquet coming in. Like I said they just don't care. I also saw something today that I've never seen. The cart girl came up to us to tell us the snack bar was closed, we were walking off the 15th green. She then drove OVER THE GREEN and back down the fairway, it was actually funny to think she didn't know any better. Anyway, this is the last of my money Hemet Golf Club will recieve from this golfer. BTW I shot 76 so this is not a bad course review. Just a bad new ownership review.

The new owners of this place are rude and have made many customer unfriendly changes. Some of the employees have quit or are intending to leave at their best opportunity. Both the Men's and Women's clubs are considering moving to another course. I can see a steady decline of what used to be a great Landmark managed facility.

Played on 9/10 and course was in very good condition. Don't understand the complaints about a course like this being knocked for having green fees of $49.00 on the weekend. Hate to say it but golf is getting too expensive to play on the weekends. The weekend warriors tend to be very rude and unsportsmen-like, slow play, no green repair, etc. Still Hemet is a good value at $49.00 and course is usually well maintained. New owners recently took over, they used to owe Desert Dunes.

Great??? It had been a few months since I had been back and the course is still showing heavy damage from the Jan/Feb storms. Traps were horrible and the fairways looked like dried swampland. Greens were above average but not enough to make me come back. See you at Diamond Valley

Good pace - finished in 3 1/2 hrs. Good course management required. Fortunately, one of the guys I played with had been there before and offered some useful tips on when and where to lay up on certain holes. GPS is a nice feature. The greens - wow! Really tough to read - almost like optical illusions. Sometimes it looked like my ball was rolling uphill! A real challenge to be sure. A long drive to get there but well worth the green fees.

Played on 5/28 and the course was in very good condition. This is a very good layout, and is a confidence boosting golf course. Nothing too difficult about any hole with birdies available on just about every one. Nice location and good customer service. When specials are available the price is also right, at normal rate of $65.00 for weekend, I can't say it would be worth the drive necessary to get here.
