Frost delay? Get outta here. 10 degrees colder here than Palm Springs, so keep that in mind if you decide to come here. No GPS, but sporty carts. They should get GPS if they want to rise to the level of premiere golf course. This course, unlike Champions, has no construction going on, but you have to listen to the trains which run by a few holes. Pace was outstanding. We felt all alone on this course. They have a nice drink stop after 9. Cart service was very good and friendly rangers came by a few times. Loved the track and the picturesque holes here. The clubhouse is fantastic. Frost delay gave us a chance to enjoy an awesome breakfast. If you can get the $5 replay, by all means, drive up from the desert and play both wonderful courses. Comlimentary balls on the great driving range too. I highly recommend both bargain-priced courses, but would pay more for GPS.

traps were horrible ..full of rocks and pebbles...also cell phone usage on course was too much by alot of 4 somes...BAN CELLPHONES!! either play golf or do business at work

Played on 01/28 in the morning. Slight frost delay, still got around in about 4 hours. Everything about this course is first rate, from layout to conditioning. Greens looked a little discolored due to cold weather, but were in perfect shape, rolled fast and true, and would hold approach shots. It was a perfect day for golf, just wish we could have been up to the challenge, but a $5.00 replay on Champions was motivation to put the game into shape.

Played this morning just before 8am. The wind was HOWLING today. The course was in excellent shape. Greens were fast and firm. Sand in the bunkers was sparse, but not so little as to create a difficulty getting out. Indeed, there was some standing water in the bunkers, but only a few. I'm sure this problem was exacerbated by the big rain storms of the last couple of days. The fairways were lush and the grass was cut nice and short, including in the chipping areas around the green and the tee boxes. The wind made the front nine play really short, but the back nine was all into the wind except hole 14. On the front nine, the two longest par 4's, # 5 & 7 played extremely short (even from the tips). But the back nine was wicked. This course is definately worth $60. The customer service is pretty good and the facility is outstanding, including free range balls with the green fee.

This is a great golf course. Its only problem is its location. It takes a full days commitment to play because of where it is. Great condition for this time of the year.

Played on 12/26 and course was is very good condition, with the exception of a couple tee boxes. Greens always seem to roll true and the course is fair but very challenging. Group in front of us were playing from the blue tees and could not drive the ball more than 150yds. There is no shame in playing from other than blue tees. Was a good day for golf and worth the price, being the only course not charging holiday rates every day until after New Year's

Best conditions ever. It is a PGA course once again. Kudos to the superintendent and his staff
