Played here on 6/16 for the first time with a co-worker. Overall a nicely kept course. It has just enough slopes and hazards to keep things interesting. The wind tends to pick up in this area later in the afternoon. The green fee is fair. I would definately play here again on a cooler day.

Played Dos Lagos on Saturday 6/21 and it was hot!!! Temp when we finished at 1:30 was 112. Condition of course was good in spite of the temperature. Layout is interesting. Front 9, in my opinion, is better than the back with more strategy involved. Back 9 more open except for the holes on the side of the mountain. On the back some of the holes are adjacent to each other and we were nearly hit by a few wayward shots. Management needs to look at this before someone gets hurt. As others have said in past reviews lack of a clubhouse and driving range is a major detriment and I agree.

Played on very hot day of 104+ temperature. First off, I was pleansantly surprised fairways were quite nice considering the heat wave this area has endured for the past few weeks. Kudos to the greenskeeper here for their efforts to keep the course irrigated but not overly soaked. This course is a nice blend of challenging holes and some fun holes. Tee boxes, aforementioned fairways, and greens were all in acceptable conditions. The only discernable problem was some gopher (or some other critter) holes near the 16th green. The entire staff (pro-shop, starter, marshall, and cart girl) was excellent and courteous in services. The round took approximately 4 1/2 hours on Sunday morning.

Wow! This course is in great shape! The greens are running true and the fairways are in great shape as well. You have to play it to believe it. My friends and I had a twelve man toruney their recently and we had nothing but great things to say about the course and the staff. The head pro was very accomodating to our group and made the experience even better than just a great round of golf. We paid $35 dollars for a course that could have easily cost $20-$30 more. My advice is to play it now and thank me later. Signed the Golfing Attorney!

Played Saturday June 7th for the first time and I must say that the course is in great condition from tee's to greens. The greens were just a littlew slow, perfect for making berdies. I had a great round and a great time. I recomend you all go out and play it. Have fun.
PS. No clubhouse and driving range.

Greens were great, played in 4 hours and 5 minutes - Marshalls came around 3 -4 times.
Can't believe they lowered there already low rates to $59 on weekends and $35 on weekdays.
The service they give (or can give) is great everyone is friendly, they all seem to enjoy what they do.
No clubhouse sucks, would love to have a beer afterward Hopefully will be have one within next few month (that is what I am told they will have a trailer system) they need something before it gets too hot.
- Love their efforts with water they have cooler with bottle water (better than cooler water that comes from a hose).
Definately will return give it 5 thumps up, who needs all the other hoopla.

Played 5/31. Course is nice. Very good condition all around. Some blind shots make for a challenge the first time out, but a nice mix of holes.

However, just about the worst facilities I can imagine. The workers seem genuinely embarrased. Refreshment Cart not allowed to give out ice due to health code regulations?

Go across the freeway to The Reserve....immaculate facilities. Sure it is $20-$30 more, but what a difference.

Hope this place gets on a solid financial footing before it goes under, as the course is a fun play.

Good: Price was $59.00. got out 20 minutes before tee time. Nice course with some tough holes, blind tee shots, and undulating greens. It was fun. Cart girl came around often.

Not so Good: 5 hour pace at 8:30AM, two porta potties on course so if you gotta go #2 forget about it. No clubhouse, though they have snacks and sandwiches.

Would play again for sure, great deal primetime weekend. Not sure about the clubhouse coming soon, i don't even see a foundation least of all framing. I bet clubhouse is six months or more away, unless it's pre-fab tilt-up.
