Greens were all bumpy. Not sure what happened there. They used to roll great. Fairways look ragged compared to years ago. But playable for the price.
Hopefully they look into the greens soon.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of this course, the customer service and rates keep me and my group of 12-16 coming back every so often.

Greens: Slow and very bumpy, -even though they were lush. Also, they need a new cup-cutter because the edges were rounded to the point that the top edges resembled more of a roller dome than a golf hole.
Fairways: OK, but with the invasion of weeds and differing types of grass, spotty lies are too common.
Rough: Much like the fairways, but with areas of holes/indentations.
Tee boxes: Very good.
Bunkers: Even though they did a lot of maintenance on them the last couple of years, they are still way too firm in certain areas.

The course is "nestled" between the 215 freeway and some major railroad tracks on the back side, so it is always very noisy. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive round of golf with a very decent layout, then this place is more than suitable.

Played on Monday, April 19. Greens are healing nicely. One of the best public golf courses in the Empire. Great value for the money. Real Sand can be found in most traps.

Rangers need to get tougher on "slow players" We have all been slow in our learning stages of our own golfing careers. But if you are slow, then allow faster groups to play through.

Played Sunday 3-28-10. tee time at 9:30 played in about 4.5 hours. Not too bad. This course is just average, but a good average. The staff is great. They are punching the greens now, but this course will be worth playing this spring and summer. The drive is what keeps me from coming here more often. The front nine is scenic and very challenging. the back nine is flat and you can score well. This course is worth the money.

Played this course on 19 Mar, OK course, could be and should be in much better condition. 1st, they need to move the range to somewhere else, its right next to 2 fairways with no stopping-net what so ever. 2nd, too many people were on the course, there are two many balls everywhere. took us almost 6 hrs to finish the course. overall I like the design and layout of this course, couple of interesting holes. I would play here again if the current management improves the condition of the course.

played here 1/4/10... paid $28 on a Sunday. you get what you pay for. course is NOT in the best condition right now. fairways are dry and thin. greens were fast and very difficult to check the ball. the pace was extremely slow. took 5 1/2 hrs to finish round..played here before and it's had its better days..if you want a cheap round, it's a decent course to go to. again, you get what you pay for.

Played here 11/21/09 the greens are in great shape, the fairways and tee boxes are thin, pace of play was slow 5 1/2 hrs to finish! they raised the rates to 52 bucks!! not worth 52 bucks!!! not when you can go to San Dimas for 10 dollars more and golf at a course that is lush!! I ussally golf here once a month, I would have to get a good deal for me to come back any time soon !!

Played 11/14/2009. Chose primarily for the price ($28 for prime time Saturday). Never played this course before, however, member of my foursome, who had played the course many times, said it was not in as good condition as it used to be. Fairways are spotty (with several different kinds of grass) greens were bumpy, and did not roll well. The course is next to the 215 freeway and railroad tracks, so noisy most of the day. Course is fairly narrow, with some tree lined fairways, and parallel fariways, which means you get players crossing each other's path quite often. I don't think I'll return, however, always enjoy checking out new courses.
