Played for the 2nd time this year on Friday, March 27 after a partners lesson. We got out about 3:30pm and finished all 18. As always the clubhouse staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant is excellent, better than the one at Oak Quarry and waaay better than the one at Empire Lakes. We stopped for some beer and hot dogs at the turn, service was great.

This course was in my view immaculate, the fairways were top notch. Some of them felt as if you were walking on padded flooring - very lush. Tee boxes impeccable, 100% level. Greens were fast and tricky - even though they were aerated not too long ago. The greens had trouble holding some shots they were so firm, seemed to have twice as much roll as my usual shots. I found myself again working for 3 putts on some holes. The breaks and undulation can be tough to figure out. Still, I again very much enjoyed this course. It has become part of my regular rotation.

Can't wait to go back!

Played today and course is in great shape, greens are a bit faster than normal, tees and fairways lush as always, for the money ($39 senior) best deal in Southern Cal.

Greens had been aerated recently so had to keep that in mind. Never hit any sand so don't know first hand how they were but playing partners were in there often and the sand looked good.

Course in great shape. greens recently punched but it was ok. fariways great, rough great, rain was light but made for a chilly day. Great deal for $35 w/lunch.

Cousrse fairly good shape greens are smooth but full of divots. i dont think anyone fixes divots san trap have sand on sides but none in bottom of bunkers

Greens were a little chewed up due to hackers not fixing their divots. We had a tee time at 12:15 pm but did not tee off until 12:45. Pace of play was very slow however the round was still enjoyable. ... Continue »

Greens were a little chewed up due to hackers not fixing their divots. We had a tee time at 12:15 pm but did not tee off until 12:45. Pace of play was very slow however the round was still enjoyable. They maintain the course well and the greens are fast. Overall I enjoyed it very much.

Ah good ol Sierra Lakes...Different day same ol crap. Had a 1:22 tee time, was told that they were backed up 30 mins as usual. No carts as usual. Terrible customer service as usual. Never any apology for there lack of organization, actually they gave me attitude because I was upset that every time I go to the place they are never on time. The starter was a jerk, the guy in the pro shop was a jerk when I asked for my money back. Overall the course,(if you can get on), is okay. Organization and customer service not too good. Won't be back...

Played on Sat. Feb 7th. Course was soaked and partially flooded from constant rain since Thursday but played well. Tee boxes were well kept, however some markers were missing. Course was in great shape with short cut fairways and fast greens (even in the rain). The condition of the greens looked suspect at first, looked like there were a ton of dried up unrepaired ball marks, however they were rolling fast and true. Tons of undulation so driving is key but fairways are pretty wide. Nice course for begginers.
Started the round at 1:30pm and finished all 18 by 4:20pm - went on as a single. It was raining for the first 4 holes then the sun came out. Staff at the proshop was very professional and courteous. I was given a paper explaining their rain check policy. Got my tee-time online from GolfNow.com for $29 including cart. It was a last minute tee time I reserved at noon for 1:30pm. This is an excellent course, will definitely go back.

Played here for the first time fri 1/23. Caught rain on a few holes, but course was in fantastic shape given recent rains. Overall fantastic experience. Finally got out here and absolutely worth the drive. Fairways are very open and this course plays relatively easy for most golfers. Enough of a challenge if you move back. We played in no wind so this is reflected in scores shot. If its windy out here, which it often is, then openess of fairways is definitely a plus to still be able to score. Overall a GREAT course I will definitely play again and again.
